I thought Herm did some of his finest work last year.

He deserves another year....or three.

Herm Edwards may be the individual most responsible for us not going worse than 24-24 over the last 3 years....

My favorite of Herm's countless gems:

The mere fact Pioli said Herm staying is a possibility means it's likely. Or else why even say it? If you're about to hire a new guy, if you're negotiating or even interviewing, then why even throw that out there?

Please, Scott .... Herm deserves another couple years to mentor Mark Sanchez ...

My favorite Herm gem (Does the waffle house actually have a red light they turn on, and then give out free pancakes)?

"When they think you put the ball on the ground, it's like free pancakes at the Waffle House. Everybody shows up," Edwards said. "You drop the ball on the ground, as soon as you get in the game they're hollering, 'Strip the ball from this guy.'

"The best thing I told him was, 'Don't put it on the ground. Don't even do it in the warm-ups. Because if you drop it, the red light comes on and it's free pancakes.'"

Yep, but he isn't at the Senior Bowl which says somethng.

Not surprised it's taking so long. It took the Dolphins half a month to fire Cam Cameron

I thought Spagnuolo was a lock for you guys. But he must not have had good interviews. He was was passed up by the Jets, Broncos, and several other organizations only to be hired by the Rams. Not really the jewel of the openings for someone supposedly the best candidate.

The Chiefs better get started or they're going to be playing catch up in the offseason. A lot of other teams have their staffs half in place already.
