Default Cowher! Cowher! Cowher! What An Exciting Day!!!

I don't give a flying **** about Shanahan leaving if we get Cowher!! Replace once legend with another. But if they pull Jim Fassell out the hat, I'm going postal.

COWHER! COWHER!

He will bring toughness, that jaw, and flying spit!

Too far away from his Daughter. I think he was expecting Fox to get **** canned this year and that was his plan. But things changed. So he sits out a year and takes his pick next year.

Cowher is not a better coach than Shanny, but I think he'd surround himself with better people than Shanny did. That would mean DLine coaches that can actually get some production from their personnel. Secondary coaches that can help us get some better coverage and maybe a LB coach that could coach up a unit to get more than three turnovers in an ENTIRE SEASON!!!! But straight up, Shanny is a much better coach than Cowher.

I'm hoping for McDaniels myself. Continue with the offensive building that Shanny started and he'd be smart enough to allow his DC to handle the defense. I just talked with Apa and I think Shanny's downfall was not having a DC that he could trust to make the calls on defense. When he finally tried to do that Bates turned around to bite him in the ass!

yup as someone who used to be forced to watch tons of steelers games (before i got sunday ticket) The Chin without LeBeau was nothing special ...
Pitt didn't get really good to the Bungals fired LeBeau and he landed in Pitt.

Cowher is not who i'd want grooming Cutler , he is not a O minded coach and always ran a snooze of a O ... with the young guys we have on O he is not the right fit .

edit : and like someone in this thread said , he isn't as good as Shanny

Oh dear. Let me ask you this...is he gonna bring Dick Labeau with him? Probably not. There is are reasons he hasn't jumped back in. One being his daughter...the other being Dick Labeau

Here! Here! brother but I think they should make a run at Tom Coughlin. The guy has field tough, tough, tough teams everywhere he goes and I think he is out of place in New York and frankly get tired of all the bull poo. Coughlin is who this team needs. A tough guy no bs guy whose teams always plays that way.
