Default The WR/TE Screen

I think if we run it ten more times, we're bound to pick up at least five yards on one of them.

I know we've run it several hundred times this year, and the BEST CASE scenario has been no gain.

But still, it's a numbers game, and even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Am I right?

Those screens are unfortunately, very necessary. Those are the things you do to mask the complete lack of a running game. You have to stretch things to the outside to at least keep the defense honest and move them towards the line of scrimmage.

Unfortunately, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. You really want to get the ball to Marshall, but he is by far the best blocker on the receiving corps.
