I can't wait to see which defensive speedy midget Shanny blows another first rd pick on.

Draft offense or dont let this man near any defensive scouting reports.

17th was good, Jarvis Moss helped alot tonight, and i loved that sack by crowder, and karl paymah and jack williams had tight coverage, alot better than the rookie free agent from baylor Josh "light me up with my 15 yrd cushion" Bell

I'm at a loss for what to do. BPA I guess, however the coaches rate the prospects. At a time like this its hard to stay the course. The defense looks like its in disarray. Then again we've committed to Jay as our franchise and we need to put quality weapons around him.

Aaron Curry - OLB - Wake

Ray Maualuga - MLB - USC

Beanie Wells - HB - OSU

Taylor Mays - S - USC

Everett Brown - DE - FSU

Brandon Spikes - ILB - UF

I just want some instinctual defensive players. I cant watch another season of linebackers consistently overrunning plays

Most would say that rules out Maualuga. He's one of those guys that can be a game-changer and playmaker though, something we are ENTIRELY lacking.

Curry, Mays, Spikes, and Laurinitis will be impact players. All the others will struggle

I'm not sure where we'll be drafting ... the draft order for non-playoff teams should be posted in the next couple days, right? Wherever we land, we might have to package to move up for Maualuga or Spikes, but it will be doable.

But I'm leaning toward Oshiogwe Atogwe ... a very young and proven elite ballhawking free safety. I say bust the bank for Atogwe, and use Round 1 for Maualuga or Spikes.
