So I've lost count. Where are we at now? 6 or 7
The answer is 7 7 runningbacks on IR |

Ok now Shanny is just messing with us.
We have a bigger problem now though guys. If Boyd is the real deal, what does this mean for Hillis next year? Also what about Torian and Aldridge!!? |

Thank God Jay has been so durable. Even with our O line he's been popped pretty good including yesterday.

I keep hearing about all these downed RBs and how it has trashed our season and I think of NE that lost their all world QB and managed to put together a respectable season including a butt kicking delivered to us.

They were 16-0 last year and was a fluke play from winning the super bowl. I think they are a little better than us.

Add two more players to the lengthy list of running backs on the Broncos' injured reserve.
Coach Mike Shanahan said today the seasons for Selvin Young and P.J. Pope are over because of injuries each suffered in Sunday's loss to Buffalo. Young ruptured a disk in neck, and Pope tore his hamstring. Young and Pope become the sixth and seventh running backs on IR, joining Andre Hall, Ryan Torain, Michael Pittman, Peyton Hillis and Anthony Alridge. Shanahan said the team will re-sign Cory Boyd and Alex Haynes to the active roster to replace Young and Pope. Boyd was on the practice squad for about six weeks and spent one week on the active roster. He was inactive against Carolina, but cut and placed back on the practice squad last week. Haynes was signed in early November after Torain tore his ACL but was cut on Nov. 22. |

This sucks because it means we'll have to throw the ball a lot.
