Default Broncos' Clady, Kuper back at practice

Broncos offensive linemen Ryan Clady and Chris Kuper practiced today and could be in the starting lineup Sunday against the visiting Buffalo Bills.

Clady, an impressive rookie left tackle, sustained an ankle injury late in Sunday's loss to Carolina.

"He practiced today, was limited, looked good," Denver coach Mike Shanahan said. "Hopefully he'll be able to go."

Kuper has a broken bone in his left hand.

"He's just going to handle the pain," Shanahan said. "He's used to playing with a cast on, that's for sure. He's a tough guy and I'll be surprised if he doesn't go the whole game.

Kuper played with a broken bone in his right hand during training camp.

Shanahan said cornerback Champ Bailey (groin) and wide receiver Brandon Stokely (foot) will be reevaluated after pregame drills Sunday.

"(Bailey is) looking a little bit better (and) hopefully there is no setback, but we won't know until game time," Shanahan said.

Stokely is in the same position, but "I expect him to go," Shanahan said.

Sunday's temperature? Don't ask. The forecast for Sunday calls for sunny skies but cold temperatures, from the high teens to low 20s.

"I'm just going to wait for it," Shanahan said. "You guys no better than that (about) Denver. It changes all the time."

I know everyone thinks watching the outcome of the chugger game is evil but if they lose I sit all of them.

Awesome! The Clady and Kuper news, coupled with the Parrish injury update, has me doing the pelvic thrust dance in my office as well!

Go Broncos!

What sort of a game plan does Buffalo bring? I watched them on MNF a few weeks back and it was so pathetic. They basically didn't have any trust in Edwards, they did little dump passes and basically pouned Marshaw Lynch. If we can Jam Lynch and keep them in 3rd and long I think we can get off the field (amazing thing to say i Know!!!)

Exactly, you would think that this would be a good plan for Slowik, but........
