I hope this doesn't mean that Scheffler is injured again.

No way, Mr Munster is back!

I feel the need to point out that Mustard wasn't released!

With 2 safeties waived the last 2 days, I guess this means McCree is ready to return.

For a second, I thought Chad Mustard got canned (for the 13th time). I like Putz. Maybe he was a fullback in college.

Good to see the guy back. Reminds me of Scheff in many ways. Can't wait to see the formation with Scheff, Putz, Graham, Mustard, and Lichtensteiger as eligible receiver. It'll look like a play in this game:

I wondered if this might happen. He was released at about the same time Jackson went down. Sounds good.

I never heard or understood why he left in the first place. He went 36-572 in '04 and 37-481 in '05 and then they let him go. Did they not like his blocking? Or were they just tired of watching him take those big hits all the time?

I seem to remember reading a few things about how Shanny had issues with his blocking that he never saw it improve. since we may not run the ball one more time this season that clearly wont be a problem now....hehe

I think we liked him but didn't think he was worth his FA offerings from other teams. It was a money thing.

Putz lost his starting job the week of the AFC champ game...

The Broncos dipped into their past Wednesday, signing tight end Jeb Putzier.

Putzier, who was the team's sixth-round pick in 2002, was at the team's Dove Valley complex and signed Wednesday morning.

The Broncos released safety Herana-Daze Jones to make room for Putzier.

The Broncos also signed running back Steve Baylark to their practice squad.
