Default We really need our key players, this week..

Shanny.. the time for caution is over. Players that you are being "very careful" with, well... it's time to throw caution to the wind, and let them play. We need them for this upcoming game. Do we need this game? Not technically. But we do need it emotionally. If this team really wants any serious shot at the playoffs this year, they need to continue their hot streak on the road against good teams. This one climbed to the top of their division, and is rated 6 or so on power rankings. Winning this one would go a long way to building confidence towards the end of seasons and playoff run.

On another note, if we do wrap it up this week, I Hope we do NOT rest our players for two weeks. I hope they play all of the next game, and at least half of the last one. I don't want another Jaguars situation.

I know we need to be careful, but c'mon, it's the NFL. Who was that player that had the tip of his finger cut off so he could play the next week? What happened to players playing with broken bones, heavily wrapped up? No more coddling. Time to play.

This is a big game no doubt, but if DJ and Champ are not ready (Ill call "ready" 90%) then sit em.

They are key to the PLAYOFFS, not Week 15.

We haven't made the playoffs yet.

And I still think we will go if we lose this game, and lose, but I want the team fired up. If we can win this game there is no reason we can't win in the playoffs, this will be a HUGE morale builder if we can pull it off. Think the Giants playing the Pats Week 17 last year - they didn't win but they brought it to them and played with a chip on their shoulder all the way through the playoffs and Super Bowl.

Bruised heel--he should be ready. We need to bring our big boy pants this week--Like we did in the ATL a few weeks ago.

Joking, right?

I heard the urban legend that he was the one that scheduled surgery, not because of medical reasons...but because the finger was in the way.

Didnt they amputate during the game so he could go back in or something?

Carolina looked really good last night...Is it critical to have all hands on deck for them at this point? If they do wrap this week, they can sit them then

This is going to be a huge game. Carolina is playing for home field advantage and is definitely a top 5 team right now.

If we beat them on the road...we will be very confident about winning on the road in the playoffs...if we lose...we'll wonder about just how good we really are. We'd be 8-6...and very much average.

If we lose, we will most likely still win the division the very next week...because we shoudl beat the Bills at home and the Chargers will have a very tough time on the road against the Bucs.

Should be interesting. But, this is a HUGE game!

Exactly, its a little scary that so many people are calling out the playoffs already. There is still 3 games left and if SD plays like they did last thurs the rest of the way.........
