1. Oshiomogho Atogwe St. Louis FS

I had no idea that OJ was a FA. If DEN could aquire him, and Barrett pans out at SS, what once was considered a huge hole, could be easily filled. Get RJohnson FS BAMA in the 3rd, and theres your depth at safety. Problem solved.
Then DEN could look at filling in the LB/DT/RB situations in the top rounds of the draft.

I saw that too. But on the bright side, they did rate our own Darrell Jackson one slot ahead of Ashley Lelie, so it's not all bad.

Here's my targets.

13. Luke McCown Tampa Bay - Far better than that rank and could be Bucs starter next year

FB Terrell Smith-Arizona - Very underrated player and excellent blocker, switch Hillis to HB to share carries with Torain.

5. Nate Washington WR Pittsburgh - Imagine B-Marsh, Royal, Stokley and him. What a combo

10. Geoff Hangartner Carolina - decent back-up OG/OC and familiar with the ZBS

1. Julius Peppers Carolina
2. Terrell Suggs Baltimore
3. Chris Canty Dallas

1. Albert Haynesworth Tennessee
4. Jovan Haye Tampa Bay

Any of those 5 would be a huge upgrade to our D-Line

2. Karlos Dansby Arizona
3. Leroy Hill Seattle
4. Jonathan Vilma New Orleans
5. Michael Boley Atlanta
7. Channing Crowder Miami
12. Mike Peterson Jacksonville

Any of the above 6 better than anything we have bar DJ on a great day

1. Nnamdi Asomugha Oakland
3. Bryant McFadden Pittsburgh
5. Ronald Bartell St. Louis
6. Dunta Robinson Houston
10. Jabari Greer Buffalo
11. Kelvin Hayden Indianapolis

All 6 would hammer Bly out of the starting role and into the slot where he should be.

1. Oshiomogho Atogwe St. Louis
2. James Sanders New England
3. Jermaine Phillips Tampa Bay
4. Gerald Sensabaugh Jacksonville
5. Sean Jones Cleveland
6. Mike Brown Chicago
7. Jim Leonhard Baltimore
8. Eugene Wilson Houston
9. Yeremiah Bell Miami
10. Darren Sharper Minnesota
11. James Butler New York Giants
12. Matt Giordano Indianapolis
13. Renaldo Hill Miami
14. Josh Bullocks New Orleans
15. Sean Considine Philadelphia
16. Vincent Fuller Tennessee

RFA's Dawan Landry Baltimore Injured Reserve
- Atari Bigby Green Bay
- Jarrad Page Kansas City
- Reed Doughty Washington Injured Reserve
- Abram Elam New York Jets

All better than the crap that currently pulls on the jersey every Sunday.

I wouldn't mind to see us go after Landry or Bigby to pair with Barrett. Asomughua to pair with Champ and Bly. make Bly our Nickleback.(plus it just sticks it to Al Davis some more)

and if we could get Vilma to agree to a contract with an out clause in it due to his knee injuries I would be all over that.

Jermaine Phillips is a tank...if we could get him we'd have to make that happen but no way the Bucs let him go...that dude is all man with ball skills...

Outside of that...i'll take Mike Peterson, Brian Dawkins or Darren Sharper...

Jermain Phillips is a real talent, no doubt, so I don't mean to detract from that with this comment, but did you see Steve Smith lay him out last night with a fantastic block in the run game? Pow!

Not even a quarter season and we are already crowning Barret? I'm just not convinced at all on this guy and feel that he's been pretty lucky so far. Let's not say that SS is all locked up now.

Also, you really have to reality check yourself when you scroll through these lists.

Would Peppers and Nhamdi be great here? Heck yes, but there's no way we shell out the cash to get them, especially Nhamdi.

And that LB Peterson? Are you kidding me? Didn't he almost just get kicked off his team for being an idiot? Also, a lot of the LB's you listed are outside linebackers. We don't need any of those, we need a middle linebacker with a pair. WW has proven way more to me at outside linebacker than Barrett has at safety by a long shot. Having Vilma, DJ, and Wesley as our linebackers would be not just a wet dream but a SOPPING WET dream. i like it.. let's do it.

I've always been a big Mike Brown fan, even though he's always hurt and he's getting old now. I'd like to see him as a stop gap solution at saftey.

stop gap solutions at safety are why we are in the position we are now with our Safeties.

we need to get passed using stop gap solutions at Safety, RB, and DL and get in some permanant fixtures to build with.

I'd draft a stud MLB in the 2nd or 3rd round. Someone with raw talent that needs to be coached up. Then I'd go get Ray, Ray...and you'd see an entirely different defense next year.

Say what you will about Sugar Bear...but the Ravens are amongst the best in the league...year in and year out....because of his leadership!

If we had that guy manning the middle with D.J. and Champ...along with a mix of youngsters!

Look out!

He needs guys in front of him, without them, he's very ordinary. The Denver D-line is far from adaquate for him to be effective here. That and the fact that he's a dick are the main reasons why he should be avoided at all costs.

The Eagle to look at on this list is CB Joselio Hanson. He's not a #1 guy but certainly #2 or #3. They might want to keep him though if they jettison Lito Sheppard.

With their dearth of talent I can't see them letting him go.
