Default Civil War in Four minutes.

Seen this? It is a neat, short representation of the Civil War.

Pretty cool.

Strange how there's that quiet period right after Gettysburg.

Or maybe not.

Shame the whole thing could have ended at Antietam if McClellan had had the guts to send in his reserves. If Grant was the commander of Union forces at Antietam, the Civil War would have ended then and there.

McClellan wanted to negotiate peace with the South and acknowledge the Confederacy's independence (part of the platorm of his political party), so he really shouldn't have been at Antietam, to be sure.

I literally lived up the street from where Sherman ended his march at Ft. McAllister in Georgia. I went to high school out side of Savannah.
