It's a running joke now.

Well, maybe not running. More like limping.

It's a limping joke.

This guy is more injury prone than Scheffler. That is saying a lot. I hope Scheffler is recovering as Jackson had some nice clutch catches the past 2 games.

On the positive side he did set a personal best for making it all the way through the 10th game of a season.

"Nate's hurt".

"Again?"

"Yeah, go figure".

"Well, IR it is".

"Who do we sign in his place?"

"How about Chad Mustard?"

(group laughter)

"Ok. Let's rip his heart out again. Get him on the phone".

Head Coach Mike Shanahan has just announced that Nate Jackson will be placed on injured reserve and that the team has brought back Chad Mustard to fill his place on the roster.

Jackson injured his right hamstring during yesterday’s practice, prompting the move. He had seen action in all 10 games, catching 11 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.

Mustard rejoins the team after spending the 2008 offseason and training camp in Dove Valley. He was waived before the season but re-signed on October 6, prior to the team’s game against the Jaguars. He played in games against Jacksonville, New England and Miami before he was waived again on November 4.

As much as some might laugh, this kinda sucks. Nate's had some really nice grabs the last few weeks and he's always been a solid special teamer.

I agree he made two clutch catches on 3rd down the past 2 weeks that continued drives that ended up in TD's. That said it just means Scheffler will be the primary catching TE and I hope he is healthy.

Tony was an iffy FF start for me before this, now he's a sure thing (my only other TE is Greg Olsen).

I heard he purchased an RV and just lives over in the parking lot for training camp. He watches the plays from the fence. He is the only person who Fred isn't allowed to harrass.
