Clady is better than Joe Thomas.

Its something that you could see from week 1, but the media had not published an article about it so it must not have been true.

Its funny...people reference Joe Thomas, but I seriously doubt that anyone outside of a couple of people here would even be able to describe his play at all. They just regurgitate what the media has fed them.

That guy's article used the term "complete and total victory" to describe Clady's performance. This type of dominance has been the case for 95% of his performance over the season. Unbelievable. That's a great performance for Gary Zimmerman or Willie Roaf, much less a ROOKIE.

Clady will be the best tackle in the AFC within two years if he stays healthy.

Clady heads what may have been one of the best draft classes in Broncos history. After so many misses it certainly is nice to see a few draft classes where everything was a hit. Clady was what the doctor ordered and more importantly will be protecting Jay for a long time to come.

Clady and Royal Co-ROY's.

As impressive as Royal has been, Clady had been a quantun leap over a worn out Lepsis. Long live the Great Protector! Long live the King!

You NEVER see that happen.
You could probably argue the same with Royal.

Considering in Denver, wide receivers RARELY see the field much in year one and are not expected to be productive until year 3, Royal was a stud from the first game he ever played.

Denver's drafts from 2005-2008 have all been good. With 2006 and 2008 being the best by far.

I love Clady....but the other Ryan on our line is pretty impressive in his own right. These guys are going to be good for a very long time. I also believe that Tyler Polumbus has the makings to be a very good starter in the NFL. How's that for two years of drafts and rookie FA's?

I wasn't too impressed with the 2005 or 2007 drafts but yeah, 06 and last year especially were killer.

2005 wasnt a bad class. We got 3 corners out of the deal 1 we traded 1 still on the team and 1 tragically murdered (who, despite what people may think about D Will, would have turned out to be a really good corner. He had great flashes in his two short years with us).

07 on the other hand was a better class than most people think. Its still a young class but we got for sure 1 sure fire started in Marcus Thomas, a guy in Jarvis Moss who didnt get a chance last year to injury and struggled to get on the field early this year but has shown dramatic improvement since he has gotten on the field and Tim Crowder who doesnt get much PT but doesnt mean he is a bust. May just need a bit more time with him.

I wouldnt say 07 was a weak class just yet. A small class yes, but I dont think it was weak. Thomas alone IMO makes the class at minimum a wash, and if Moss continues to get better like he has been then its gonna end up being a good class too.

The 2005 draft was a pretty good draft.

2005 - Denver Broncos
Rd Sel # Player Position School
2 56 Darrent Williams CB Oklahoma State
3 76 Karl Paymah DB Washington State
3 97 Domonique Foxworth CB Maryland
3 101 Maurice Clarett -- Ohio State
6 200 Chris Myers G Miami (Fla.)
7 239 Paul Ernster K Northern Arizona

All those players are still in the NFL except for Clarett and Darrant Williams.

The 2007 draft was pretty damn good. all 4 picks are still on the team and 2 of them are starters that are playing very very well.

Rd Sel # Player Position School
1 17 Jarvis Moss DE Florida
2 56 Tim Crowder DE Texas
3 70 Ryan Harris OT Notre Dame
4 121 Marcus Thomas DT Florida

That's not bad at all. Of course they don't compare to 2006 and 2008 but they are still solid drafts.

We actually got 2 starters from 2007 draft - Ryan Harris is also pretty good.

Just imagine if Alex Gibbs was still here - Clady would be even nastier!
