Ok, so this week I had my career get derailed and my heart smashed into pieces...needless to say im a bit numb right now and want some positive stories. Please write me some good news you've all gotten lately. Sometimes we need reminders that the world isnt such a bad place.

Well, we will have a new president soon. I guess that's a start. I'm sorry to read that your life isn't going so hot, right now...

I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance....
Gas prices are way down. Down to $2.10 a gallon for regular in my area. |

Well I don't know if its good news but I am moving to England for 3 years, but I guess I will have to take up the other football when I go there. I hope things get better for you. Lately I have been pretty down, but have to keep reminding myself it will get better. Anyway, hope it turns around for you soon. |

I seem to be doing well at my new job, well not to new just since March.
Things get down sometimes, but they always seem to work out. Thats tough to see sometimes when things aren't going well. I was crushed about 6 months ago, I felt terrible but it was my own fault. I'm still not mature as I should be at 36, still a lot to learn, still need to grow up a bit. But I realize having my son in my life is where its at. |

I actually work for a company that in-spite a downed economy our owners are pumping a lot of money into expansion and new equipment. We are in the process of moving into our new state of the art facility that is 439,000 sq. ft. Our old plant is approx. 135,000 sq. ft. Along with the new building we have a lot of new technology inside to produce and ship our products. Our competitors are closing plants, but we are growing ours for when the market comes back. We will be ready to rock and roll while the other guys will struggle to keep up with supply and demand.

We are still paying $4.06 per gallon, and they will not lower it. They signed a **** contract and now they are sticking it to us. God damn, I hate AAFES. Last edited by Ratboy; 11-20-2008 at 05:03 PM.. |
