Default F-ing thieves.

Arrived at one of my projects this morning and found out that lowlifes were busy burglarizing the site overnight.

Over $10000.00 worth of tools from my trailer and $7k of tools from my electricians trailer.

I guess it's better than working for a living. What kills me is that the site is across the street from the police station.

I hope the fuggers rot in hell!

That really sucks. I'm sure you have insurance for such events? Of course buying new tools will be expensive. I'm with you I hope those ****tards rot.

Look on the bright side with Barry in charge you could just collect the insurance checks and retire

That's too bad. You're supposed to be in a GOOD mood today. Hopefully, law enforcement will catch whoever did this...

Law enforcement wont catch anybody. This isn't the first time and I doubt it'll be the last time. It's a common occurance on job-sites. Heck, the bastards steal copper wiring right out of the conduits and copper lines are constantly disapearing. It's when they steal tools, my guys have to take a day off until iI can "re-tool" the job.

I'd like to catch them in the act, beat the ****ers to a pulp, dig a hole with a trackhoe and make them disappear for good.

I'm so ****ing pissed off!

I know they are an ignorant bunch of pricks because they left my theodolite sitting on the floor. (it's worth about $4500.00).

The problem I foresee is that these thieves are getting more "ballsy" by the day. I've heard some storeis from other contractors and some of my sub-contractors which would amaze the "normal guy".

In broad daylight, these guys drive onto sites with workers present and steal materials, tools and even machinery.

I guess it's time to get a concealed weapons permit and lock and load.

Man construction theft is epidemic. One of the biggest issues I had working airport operations on overnights. Not only do they steal tools but they go after wire and any copper they can find. I actually found a truck parked on the dirt near a new hangar at my old airport. Had his plates run and there was a warning note on the file tying it to construction theft. Damn the cops were there in full force. Arrested the guy in the building.

Sorry to hear these **** bags are nailing you TGN.

Glad to see you are coming around. I knew you'd see the light. May I recommend one of the following?

Sig Sauer P229. Available in 9mm, 40 S&W and 357 SIG.

Springfield XD 4" Service model. Available in same calibers as P229 plus a 45 ACP model.

In all seriousness, sorry to hear your tools got stolen. Thats alot of money lost and having **** stolen from you just sucks in general. Hopefully you'll find justice one way or another.

I'm sorry this happened to you.

It's a shame people have to steal other peoples hard earned items because they're so lazy to get a job and buy the stuff on their own.

I hope all of it can be replaced.

That aside. After losing all my tools I had to resort to some quick rentals to keep my guys busy. When I went to RSC to pick up the tools the guy behind the counter told me their store had been burglarized twice in the past month, the last time was last Sunday during the middle of the day. $25K in equipment walked out "on camera" and the thieves acted as if they were shopping at Wal-Mart. He also told me that the police stopped a semi headed east on I-70 yesterday with 8 tow-behind welders in the trailer. (all had been stolen, and one had been stolen from RSC 3 weeks ago).

Here's another one: My mason had his storage yard ransacked 1-1/2 weeks ago. The culprits broke through the fence, hooked up to one of his flatbed trailers, loaded it with goodies and took off.

This **** has to come to a halt.

Allthough I'm a "liberal", as some here like to call me, I've always been "armed", but now consider me "dangerous".

If nothing else, hopefully you can prevent any further theft from your sites.

I don't think it's possible. The thieves know they will never get caught.

You should see the improvements and modifications we made to our storage trailers. These fuggers used a truck/ machine to yank open the back doors of our trailer far enoug to unbolt the 3" diameter steel bar which was bolted to steel gussets on each door leaf with a 1/2" steel bolt.

What still pisses me off is that this particular site is right across the street from the damn Police station in the middle of an open field. WTF would YOU think if you see **** going on in the middle of the night at a construction site?

Fuggers just don't pay attention.
