We already have a socialist government. John McCain has done nothing to earn my vote. Had he just picked a good runningmate we'd have an election, but today we have a landslide in the making. He won't get beat as badly as Mondale, but I would imagine it would be that close.

That isnt Capitalism , that isnt free market , thats a Corporation type of hierarchy , that could lead to less quality of life and safety issues ..... Yep, just goes to show what corporate America knows, advertising and theater really works.

We have a lot of mindless robots taking time off of work and skipping school, to 'make history'.

More people believe that Obama will lower taxes than believe McCain will.

Advertising works -- money buys votes. If there was ever any doubt, Obama proved it. He started his presidential campaign early by saying that if you vote for me, I will send you a check for $1000 next year. Buying votes at its best.

We'll see how things turn out, but it sure looks like we will have an insanely liberal government in place for the next four years (not many democratic house seats up for re-election in two years), so we'll get to see how that works out.

Obama and Congress are going to raise taxes. So would McCain. As Tned pointed out, both these jackasses have been trying to buy votes. I am writing in Paul's name. I am throwing away my vote, but at least I'll have a clean head about it.

Look, McCain is gonna lose, deal with it. Yeah, Im going in a couple minutes, gonna hold my nose and vote for, well, against Obama, just vote yes on 46 and 50. At this point thats all I care about. If 46 passes, I might be able to survive the next 4 years.

Part of me would like to see the Dems have it all for a couple years so we can see how bad it will REALLY get. They are going to go too far then let the GOP take the house and senate back in 2 years and then maybe they will nominate a ****ing conservative for the first time in 28 years who will then win in a landslide over Obama.

Gonna have to get a second job just to heat our homes come winter of '09-'10.

Sounds like you may one of those uneducated people voting today. The latest poll I saw said 21% thought Obama would raise taxes, 8% thought McCain would and 55% thought they both would.
