Default Riots Anyone?

If Obama looses -- what are the chances of riots? I too think Obama is ahead, but not by as much as folks in the media have reported, and so the expectation is created, and if not met, folks go into Twin Towers mode, and conclude falsely that the election must have been stolen. The idea that IF Obama is not elected that those who voted against him are racist also does not help.

I think the chances are real, and I hope more from America, but think we are at a place that we so mistrust each other that it doesnt matter if there is a miscarriage of justice -- even if there isnt any, it will be created for political purposes, so that hate can be used later -- like money in the bank. Discussion of Acorn are beginning to seep into the right as well -- I dont know what to make of that whole Acorn thing to be honest, but figure some fraud on both sides cancell each other out? So we are back to where things, in my mind are "basicly fair." Lets pray, that there are enough people in America who can be counted on to help fix those parts of the voting system that may be corrupted so that it works honestly for all.

But in reality -- I dont think that corruption in the system is at the core of mistrust --- it is something rotten at the core of what we have let ourselves become -- that party has become (for some) more important then identification with being an American first. Again if we tear at each other, and our foundations endlessly there are consquences, and we are seeing that now. Lets hope both sides can find a way to deal with the outcome no matter what that outcome is...

If Obama loses than there should be a serious and complete investigation. And then riots.

I don't think I'll be seen anywhere near Buckhead (one of the more affluent portion of ATL) if Obama wins. Don't want to get bum-rushed by all those racist elitists....you know?

Beans are good for you. I particularly love red beans and rice. Especially with some nice bits of sausage in it and a little Tabasco. Good stuff.

What if McCain loses, which I think he will, and by more than most people thought ...

Will the GOP conclude that it was the result of a left-wing media conspiracy?

Stay tuned!

Yep. It was those nasty, unfair, grossly biased assaults on Sarah Palin by the MSM that lost this election for McCain. Like when they asked her what magazines she reads, or that other underhanded trick question, what does the VP do?

I thought it was those never-ending polls. That's what causes people to loose elections.

Obama losing is so far fetched at this point, I think we shouldn't worry about it.

No, I don't recall the last time Kerry was going to win by a landslide.

Are you implying Obama's black supporters will take to the riot if he loses? What events in the past would make you think that could happen?

There won't be any riots. It's not like it's as important as a sports championship...

The only riots there will be, will be carried out by the animals that supports Obama. If he loses, everyone that has been told by the media that Obama is a shoe in will lose their sh_t.

The biggest riots are always from perceived injustice stemming from a court case etc. Remember when everyone rioted because OJ got away with murder? Oh wait forget it that was because the Steelers won the superbowl.
