At this point in Cutler's career he is playing worse than the man he replaced.
Jake Plummer>Cutler Not that I think we should replace him or anything but Plummer did more with less and could at least win ball games. Cutler right now is just like Plummer was early in his career in AZ with a stronger arm. Cutler has a lot better recievers and is playing some really crappy football and is a TO machine with either INT's or fumbles. I'm not a football coach but Shanny needs to ride his ass and knock down that cocky ass attitude a few notches. I think he was really believing all the hype early in the year but he has turned into a straight up liability. |

Is this the new thing? "What do you think about....." "Say what you want but..." what the **** is this ****? Title your threads.
Do you turn in papers to your professor/boss saying "I think that...." "We could save costs if....."? Seriously? |

Nope, Cutler right now will always be better than plummer at his best. Cutler has way more ceiling than plummer ever did. Although, if Cutler doesn't learn this year his potential may go unrealized.

1) Plummer had one truly great season and we led the league with +20 in the turnover margin. We also had a top 10 D statistically that year. That meant he didn't have to force things. 2) We ran the ball much better for Plummer than we have this season. 3) Gary Kubiak was his offensive coordinator. |

Got damn, some Broncos fans are just stupid as rocks and must have completely forgot what they were watching when Plummer played. Put Plummer in our offense today, then talk. Did you already forget how you would hold your breath every time Plummer stood up in the pocket, hoping he wouldn't do something stupid?

Jake had a running game. Jake was great at playaction. Jake didn't take any of Shanny's ****.
But Jake had limited arm strentgh, and reading the entire field. He also let jis emotions take over. Need to stop blaming teh players and look at the guy holding the playbook and making faces on the sideline. |

Plummer at his best was a brilliant game manager that led a team to the AFC CHampionship game that had absolutely no business being there. Cutler has a superior offense around him than Plummer ever head, specifically on the offensive line and he has done less with more than Plummer did "at his best". RIGHT NOW, Plummer > Cutler. RIGHT NOW, Cutler is a very poor QB. |

I know you're not that stupid.
That offense was completely different from what we run today. And I know you're not stupid enough to realize that Cutler is on pace to throw more ints, yards, and the same amount of INTs. I'm not saying he will...but the fact that you throw out stats of an entire season against Cutler NOW? Yeah, I stand by my statement. ****in stupid fans. |

They played completely different roles... Jay Cutler's poor performance his amplified by our piss poor defense. When nothing works, everything gets blown out of proportion. Plummer was in a good situation. |

WTF are you saying above? Throw more INT's or the same amount? Not the exact same offense but it was more conservative one, with less weapons at WR/TE and is putting up very comparable numbers. Not saying Plummer is a better QB but you can't be so blind to not see that Jay is not playing good football and he is playing on par with what Jake did. Throw out the first two weeks of the season and then interpolate the stats and you tell me how well Jay is playing? Who is the f&^King idiot is.

Plummer was asked to manage the game, Cutler is asked to win it.
Which is why I would love to go back to running the ball more to set up the pass better like we did with Plummer. |

Didn't he try to pound it in on 1st and then threw it on 2nd? I recall Plummer doing the same thing during his tenure...

I was for replacing Plummer with Culter but it does seem this team has for the most part played poorly since Plummer was benched.
The defense has dropped off quite a bit for some reason since the QB change. I guess they tried to rebuild the defense and adjust the scheme to coincide with changes in the offense. |
