I'll try to keep this short.
A new guy joins a forum that I belong to (and we will just say it's not this one) and some of the people there know him. He is a pastor at a local church down here. We go out and go 4wheelin. Seems like a nice guy, what else would you expect, he's a pastor. So this one guy on the forum says in an off topic that he won't be able to go buy is AK-47 when Obama is president. I made a reply that no need to blame Obama for that, there was a bill drafted in June this year by a group of Republicans asking for a ban on assult rifles. Then the pastor comes out with an uppercut you never would have expected. I mean, you do hear it on TV and the internet but when it's somebody you know and it's local, it just seems to hit home more. He says " don't get me started on why OSAMA shouldn't be the next president". How do you like that folks. You have a pastor who every sunday should be preaching about love, forgiveness, fairness, kindness and he shows his true colors. He's full of hate, racism, unfair judgement, etc... Geez - I wonder if I should print that out and go nail up a few hundred around the church next Sunday. |

If that's all? For real? Yeah, it's pefectly normal for pastors to walk around calling christains that happen to be black and have a funny name terrorist. Just the kind of pastor I want at my church. That way, when he preaches to me how I should not hold judgement on somebody because God said so in the bible, I will know he is full of ****.

That's my problem with religious organizations. People expect their "leaders" to teach them how to live, what's expected of them by God, etc and fail to realize those "leaders" are just fallible human beings also. The good ones practice what they preach, the bad ones just have their lips moving.
Zona I don't think spreading the word of what he's really like would do much good especially for you. You need to determine if you can find what you need listening to this man. From what you've said, I doubt it. |

T'was the night before elections
And all through the town Tempers were flaring Emotions all up and down! I, in my bathrobe With a cat in my lap Had cut off the TV Tired of political crap. When all of a sudden There arose such a noise I peered out of my window Saw Obama and his boys They had come for my wallet They wanted my pay To give to the others Who had not worked a day! He snatched up my money And quick as a wink Jumped back on his bandwagon As I gagged from the stink He then rallied his henchmen Who were pulling his cart I could tell they were out To tear my country apart! ' On Fannie, on Freddie, On Biden and Ayers! On Acorn, On Pelosi' He screamed at the pairs! They took off for his cause And as he flew out of sight I heard him laugh at the nation Who wouldn't stand up and fight! So I leave you to think On this one final note- IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!!!! |

Beaten by a new guy who did not want his country to rot I ran a good race is what McCain and Palin will say As Obama takes office millions scream, show us a new way We work through tough times as americans shout with one voice Obama is the next president, finally we've made the right choice Hey, not bad for doing that on the fly. I kinda like this poem format. ![]() |

It's ok. Obama himself was a member of a church for 20 years who said worse things and Obama sat there with a big smile on his face and when the heat finally caught up to him with such an association, threw his pastor under the bus and pretended he didn't know anything about it. Great guy so many blindly support.
