We aren't going to stop them. Our plan will have to be the same as the one we brought into Lubbock--8 minute scoring drives. If we can't run it and methodically drive for most the game we are screwed (actually we're probably screwed no matter what we do, but just go with it).

You'll score in about 3 plays every drive, and we'll just have to hope time of possession will help us in the end. I don't have a lot of faith in this plan, but it almost worked against TT so who knows and really what else can we do? OU's defense has looked plenty mortal (Texas and KU both hung big numbers on them), but our offense has a habit of disappearing against good teams.

Let's just keep this under a 20 point margin. Please.

(has there been a worse collection of defenses in the history of major conferences? ever?)

Tracking the Nebraska-OU game on the ticker during the Texas game was like watching a pinball machine. It's 7-0, whoops, now it's 14-0, wait, it's now 21-0, hold on, it's now 28-0....

I mean, didn't Baylor put up a better fight than that?

that was a crazy game to be at

halftime was awesome, they brought back all the players and coaches from the Game of the Century between Nebraska and OU back in 1971. That was pretty sweet even though I only knew a couple players and coaches.
Wild to see Switzer and Osbourne though.

I would say "good game" sooner fans, but that would be a lie. Too big of a talent gap to make mistakes, let alone three turnovers in about 5 minutes. What a joke. Anyway, you guys have a shot at taking back the South now. TT-OU and OU-OSU should be a great games.

Hopefully we can get it together for our next meeting, and give you something at least entertaining to watch.

KU-NU next week should be competitive. I'd give KU the advantage, but we should be able to hang with them. K-State and CU suck. Badly. Still, we can't afford the massive number of turnovers or complete breakdowns on defense, because we aren't really that much better than them. But I do expect wins in those final two.

7-5. 6-6 at very worst IMO, which at least makes a bowl. We've had two complete meltdown games (Mizzou and now this one). Hopefully we rebound as well as we did last time and finish this season strong.
