The day the Dallas Cowboys signed Michael Sam to a practice squad, a Houston TV station had this run on their scroll at the bottom of the screen: “Tony Romo, still the gayest player on the Cowgirls.”

I called Fox 26 in Houston to find out how this happened and an employee of the station named Brittany (who transferred me before I could get her last name) said that this sort of thing happens sometimes because the scroll automatically pulls tweets from the web.
Sounds like they need to tighten up what slips through the cracks.

This is the exact opposite of an announcement by John Fox. Brady will start and probably go 30 for 40, 390 yards and run 6 times for 40 yards.

I like how the players glance back and just keep on walking

But he just wants to be like every other football player.

Sorry LeLo, but when the NFL is pushing teams to sign a player whats that mean?

Miami could surprise New England this weekend. Miami will contend for a playoff spot this season and for a upper northeaster team having to head towards the Miami heat, that could be a difficult proposition. Dolphins defense will be legit this year too.

Yeah, always tough to play on FL in Sept...but I just don't know about Miami beating NE. Miami's organization is such a train wreck.

Being reported that James Harrison signed a one-day, retiring a Steeler.

Wonder if Champ will sign a one-day as well.

The league made the calls, not Sam. As for "what it means", I'd say it means they're worried about PR.
