When the team you cheer for has a nasty defense it sure is fun. Denver could have one of those defenses this year if they are willing to play on the edge.

Within the rules for sure but if for example if a receiver comes over the middle and catches a pass make him wish he hadn't with a clean legal hit.

Your welcome but I was trying to relay how the Broncos should be playing defense.

What Lestat said is probably true about Seattle.

Not dirty but they do play with an edge.

Although the hit on Wolfe last preseason was dirty but thats another story for another day.

A football team encouraging to much contact. That's worse then a baseball team encouraging to much throwing and hitting. You just can't make this stuff up.

You can thank the new CBA for that.

So they were "encouraging" not coaching, not forcing, not even coercing, but "encouraging".
This is why the Seahawks D runs roughshod over other teams. They love to play that way and other teams are worried about ticky tack NFL rules.

Great. Calling the Seahawks for too much contact after a practice, but not during the most important game of the year. Thanks league.

ESPN apologizes for reporting on Michael Samís shower habits

Quote:
On Tuesday, ESPNís Josina Anderson filed a report from Rams camp that included fairly extensive commentary on the shower habits of Michael Sam. On Wednesday, ESPN apologized for the report.
I didn't realize it was our own Josina who filed the "shower report."

This is the second time in 3 years that they have had this issue.

She may literally be the worst journalist in the history of sports. Even Bob was better than her.

I don't know if I would call those two guys "gunslingers" at this juncture.
They throw for 210 and 200 yards per game.

I agree.

I would gladly take this type of penalty if it was resulting in Super Bowl wins.

In three preseason games, Gunslinging Kaep has has completed 12 of 22 passes for 115 yards.

Why would anyone buy an issue of Sports Illustrated in this day and age? Who pays to read "Peter King's SB pick?"

Cutler, Flacco, Stafford would be gunsligers. Kaep... he is kinda limited so it's hard to call him one plus the WR corps kinda sucks.
Wilson is more surgeon than gunslinger.

What is a gunslinger? To me it means someone who is reckless with the ball.
