If they keep calling the games this way, the NFL will become unwatchable.

I hope college ball doesn't follow their lead.

That was from August 10th, he'll still make their team.

Jairus Byrd did, along with the emergence of Vaccaro.

Steelers obviously no longer have a steel curtain. After Tebow beat the Steelers #1 Defense in the playoffs they haven't been the same,

Oops, didn't notice that. He just returned to practice today, though, according to that paper.

Steelers are gonna suck ass if Bell and Blount are done for any amount of time. I like Archer, but he was basically everything those guys weren't and totally different than a guy who can shoulder the load all season.

What a disaster from a personnel standpoint. 1st and 2nd string RB will be suspended at the same time? yikes.

Da'Quan Bowers knows he's on bubble

Quote:
"You can’t prevent injury," Bowers said. "It happens. Like coach said, any time you can’t perform on the practice field it gives someone else another opportunity. When you do get on the practice field, you’ve got to make your reps count and I think I did a pretty decent job of that this camp with the reps I’ve gotten in the game and in practice. Like coach said, the only way to perform and compete is to be on the field."

Bowers' best hope of making the roster is to make a good impression at defensive tackle and convince the Bucs he can swing between the two positions.

Is he damaged goods or could he be another successful reclamation project for Denver if he does get cut?

I think he is done, that position requires explosiveness and sudden power and I just don't think his body can deliver.

He was thinking we ran on 1st down every play up until that point and they made the best call at the best time.

God that was the greatest moment I ever personally witnessed.

He doesn't have any cartilage in his knee
Once he is cut by the Bucs he will probably be out of the league

Yep. This was the reason he fell so far in the draft in the first place.

He's most likely done.

Woops, Stephenson caught with PEDS.

The Kansas City Chiefs have lost another key piece along their depth-challenged offensive line.

The team on Friday announced that starting right tackle Donald Stephenson has been suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the regular season. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that the third-year blocker was banned for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances.

"Obviously losing Donald is disappointing, but we are in full compliance with the league's policy," the team wrote on the its official website. "We will have no further comment on the situation."

Losing Stephenson is a rugged blow for a team that already waved farewell to tackle Branden Albert and guards Jon Asamoah and Geoff Schwartz during the offseason.

The pressure now falls on left guard Jeff Allen and rookie bookend Eric Fisher to hold down the fort. The untested Ryan Harris and Zach Fulton are candidates to fill in for Stephenson during a four-game slate that includes the Titans, Broncos, Dolphins and Patriots.

Doesn't matter. They were going to lose those four games anyway.

That was why he fell in the draft. It was known he would have to at the very least undergo microfracture surgery in the future and at worst would last 4 seasons or less due to the condition.

Even kFc's Mascot Wolfie guy, or something, is suing them:

EPIC Offseason for kFc!

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11...tlement-injury

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The man who performs as the Kansas City Chiefs' mascot has reached a legal settlement over severe injuries he suffered last November while practicing a zip line routine.

Lawyers for Dan Meers, better known as KC Wolf, announced the settlement Thursday but said the terms prevent disclosure of the dollar amount or the parties involved.

Attorney Tim Dollar said in a news release that Meers is still recovering and is talking with the Chiefs about a modified role as KC Wolf in the future.

Meers has performed as KC Wolf since the Chiefs adopted the mascot 24 years ago. He suffered what was described as a severe back injury Nov. 23 while practicing the zip line routine at Arrowhead Stadium.

Few details have been disclosed, but Dollar said earlier there may have been an error by a third-party company in securing the rigging.
