I know Von has had his share of issues, but man am I glad we didn't draft Dareus.

Walter footballs scouting report. Pretty good on noting there could be motivation issues.

Summary: Marcell Dareus might wind up being the best defensive lineman in a draft crop littered with top talent. Coming out of Nick Saban's 3-4 defense, he is ready for the NFL although he only started four games in 2009 and was suspended for two in 2010 so he is light on experience. His family life has been hard and teams will have to be sure he is still motivated to work hard after getting paidAssuming he clears that hurdle, teams can either use him as a 3-4 end or possibly a nose tackle.

All you have to do is look at Brady and Manning

i still think Tebow killed any chance he had of making it as an NFL quarterback by bulking up his upper too much, especially his arms.

It has nothing to do with practicing throwing. He's done that quite a bit as well. It's his ability (or lack of) to read and process a defense effectively.

This isn't true. Tebow threw quite a few different patterns. He threw for 88 TD's against 16 interceptions for his career. And those weren't just a bunch of seam and post routes - especially in the red zone. The problem was his reads were pre-designed so he always knew where to look when it was a designed throw. He had one read and if it was there he could dump it or run. FWIW Tebow has a higher QB rating than Manziel.

Tony Dungy would of left Sam looking for work vs having him on his team.

Agreed. Most of his problems start with his lack of ability upstairs. I'll also say that all the alterations to his motion made him a much less accurate QB

Given his $$ and his physique he really is the prototypical guy that should let the little head do ALL the thinking. I mean ALL of it. He'd be MUCH happier that way.

What's funny in hind sight is after interviewing Tebow McD said he was the most knowledgeable collage QB he had ever talked with. Fast forward two years and he is out of the league mainly because he could not read defenses, that and he sucked at throwing the ball.

There's something really annoying to me about one person telling another person how to be happy.

So McD valued a QB who could make pictures out of magazine clippings - explains a lot.

I often misspell that word and a few others also reverse letters in words. Also I type 'but' when I mean 'put' and vise versa. You see I have a condition known as dyslexia.

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Robert Newhouse died Tuesday at the age of 64, a victim of heart disease.

Newhouse is well-remembered for his powerful thighs and his halfback pass thrown for a touchdown to Golden Richards in Super Bowl XII. He is remembered by those who knew him best as "kind and caring.''
I had the honor of playing doubles with Mr. Newhouse at an NFL celeb tennis tournament when I was 10. Very nice--and HUGE--guy.

Oh well, guess you are just going to have to work with that. And your sense of humor. It was a joke dude, I don't care what he does but he sucks as an NFL QB.

Very sad, I grew up watching him split carries in Dallas all those years. He was one of those guys I respected as a player.
