You only wish and as I said don't flatter yourself(if you can get a word in edgewise). How do you know when you are a complete tool Patrick? When nobody's opinion of you is as high as your own opinion(and you have 35k posts on an internet forum and can't get any bronco fans in your town to watch the superbowl with you).
Changing the discussion. You lied about him constantly that year, from Cam Newton lighting him up (when the majority of Steve Smith's receptions came against the other CB), and many, many more.

And wtf do you think you know me? I do none of the **** you just make up and lie about me with. I honestly think you make this **** up because it creates some pseudo-association where you think you actually know something about who I am.

Selfies?

Talk about myself all the time? No, that's you.

And for your weird random Super Bowl smack that I don't even get... I've met and made friends with a huge chunk of the Mane. Since moving to Jacksonville I've watched games with MUG and ColoradoDarin and we still get in touch to do it. I watched the Super Bowl with my daughter because there's no one I'd rather spend an "important" day with.

It sounds like the same things that Bill Polian was saying today on ESPN Insiders and NFL Live.

There are some red flags but a good coach can coach him up and paired with JJ Swat they would have a lethal front 7 in the mode of San Fran.

I was amazed at how well we (and other teams) contained Watt this year.

They are desperate for a QB and their secondary was bad as well but we saw what a pass rush can do to your passing game if you pressure the QB in the SB. With consistent pressure even HOF QB's look like 1st year rooks.

There does seem to be a lot of baggage as far as his work ethic and lack of "love for the game", Polian discounted most of that but pointed out the interview will be the difference for most teams.

It will be fun to see who rises and falls into and out of the top 5-10 picks up until the draft.

He did get lit up for TD's and not just that game but a lot of that year. I posted an AZ sportswriter's article even commenting on it but whatever you want to think.

Can we keep this thread for breaking NFL News?

This isn't what SouthSideJunkie had in mind when he created the 2nd best, behind only the kFc sucks thread, on the Mane.

Holy **** dude. I'm not the one talking about me.

You are.

I'm the one asking you to stop talking about me.

That should make you feel creepy when a stranger you know nothing about has to ask you to stop talking about them.

After 11 seasons and three Pro Bowl appearances, Panthers tackle Jordan Gross is retiring and will announce it at a press conference Wednesday, the team has announced.

The news was first reported by the Charlotte Observer.

Since helping Carolina to the Super Bowl during his rookie season in 2003, Gross started all 167 games in which he played. He only missed nine games total during his career and only one in the past four years.

Though he would have been 34 years old before the 2014 season began, he was ranked by Pro Football Focus as the No. 3 tackle in the league in 2013. Carolina just restructured the deals of three players, but losing Gross will be problematic -- and not just for salary cap needs.

Gross was a really good player for a long time. This draft is loaded at OT. Good year to need one.

Why? Will Clowney revolutionize the position or will the coach that drafts him make the position more popular ?

Yeah, but those would pale in comparison to the epic Popps vs. TJ bouts of old.....

What's wrong with DUI55 saying Clowney may not pan out in the NFL? I think he has a big chance to flame out. He has no work ethic, and if you watch enough tape of him, you see a player who disappears way too much.

Serious red flags. Sure when he wants to play, he can be a real force. But unless he's with the right coaches, in the right situation, or really starts getting it, there is serious reason to believe he could struggle.

I think at worst Clowney is a 7 sack a year guy who is solid but not spectacular.
He has elite physical attributes that you just cannot ignore. His work ethic is a little lacking but this has really only been keyed in on since he was touted as the #1 draft pick starting last season.

And if he goes to a team like the Rams and tries to slack off, he's got Robert Quinn and Chris Long all up in his ****. Not to mention Gregg Williams.

I can endorse this. best thing that could happen to him is to drop in the draft and develop a chip on his shoulder.

Browns have no comment on images of Lombardi with Browns materials

Several of you noticed during Monday’s coverage of the Scouting Combine images of former Browns G.M. Michael Lombardi looking at paperwork containing a large image of the Browns logo while working with his new employer, the New England Patriots.

I hear that a lot. I think it was Mayock that said 10 sacks a year. Not saying he won't but it hardly seems to be a given when he only put up three last year playing college ball.

I wonder what this means with respect to Maclin. The media out here is saying they'll offer him a 1 year deal.

^Answering my own question...

The Eagles are still hoping to re-sign Maclin before free agency opens on March 11. Both sides are talking, but a deal is not close to being completed, according to two sources.
