Oakland wwas the next week with the "new" way to ice the kicker....Right before the ball is snapped.

Remember he made the first one, we called the TO right before. Then he missed the second one to the left (as the kicker sees it) and it was good from like 80 yards...He practically hit the top of the upright.

I remember that game. Typical Denver game back then. In control ready to blow out Oakland and McCown got hot. I was at that game and it was nuts.

I was at that game and the guys next to me took off and missed out on the ending. That whole week, the Faiders fans were calling us cheaters...until they did the exact same thing the next game and it also worked for them. Funny how things work out.

I think that bit us in the butt later in that same season against the Titans, where he missed it. Then the timeout let him re-kick it right before the half.

Mike Horan and Derek Loville need some cash. I think Loville may have been sold before though. http://catalog.greyflannelauctions.c...Awards-40.html

Also a Rashaan Salaam Heisman ring and Fiesta Bowl jersey going on the block.

SI had a good write up about the whole situation. I certainly think he deserved prison time, but the life charges he faced were on very thin evidence of being a drug "kingpin". Like where was the money

5-10 probably more appropriate because he was still wrong in it all, but I have serious doubts over the whole drug lord thing he was accused of.

Ozzie Newsom left stadium in ambulance?

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-in-ambulance/

Quote:
A long day got longer and more worrisome for the Ravens, as General Manager Ozzie Newsome was taken from Solider Field in an ambulance, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.

According to Biggs, Ravens officials wanted to make sure the person being put on the ambulance was taken out a side door to avoid attention.
