These boneheads. This is what happens when you get coddled in "college." why can't these guys follow some simple policies/rules. You've got a great job with a great income.

NFL Media columnist Mike Silver reports that Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner is facing another suspension for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs, according to the sources familiar with the situation. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond III is facing a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Thurmond is expected to drop an appeal of his suspension next week in order to return for the playoffs.

Isn't this about the 6th time in the past 2 seasons someone from the Seahawks has been suspended for PED's?

CHEATERS.

Seahawks' Brandon Browner facing suspension for PEDs

Browner also missed the final four games of last season for violating the league's PED policy. Second-time violators of the policy are suspended eight games, per league policy. He's currently on the shelf with a groin injury and was not expected to be available until mid-December, coach Pete Carroll said last week.

This suspension should end Browner's Seahawks career, according to Silver's sources. His contract expires at the end of the season and the organization is believed to be done with him

Adrian Peterson is closing in on 10,000 career rushing yards....and he's only 28 years old.

After last Sunday's 146 yard rushing game, he's at 9,846 career rushing yards.

That still puts him well over 8,000 yards short of all-time rushing leader Emmitt Smith, who has 18,355 career rushing yards.

Let's say Adrian Peterson ends the season with 10,400 career rushing yards.

He'd need to average about 1,600 rushing yards per season for 5 more seasons to reach Emmitt Smith.

Peterson has said that he wants that record....if he's able to stay healthy, he'll have a chance, but 5 more seasons of 1,600 yards per means he'll have to stay healthy and average 100 yards per game for 5 more seasons.

I'd like to see him make a run at the record.

Brandon Marshall is on pace for another 100+ reception season.

If he does go over 100+ receptions, it would be his 5th season of 100+ receptions.

Right now, B-Marsh has 74 receptions for 945 receiving yards and 9 TDs.

I've always said if Brandon Marshall kept his head on straight that he's be in the Hall of Fame....and if he keeps it up, he might get there.

He should end the season with over 720 career receptions for 9,000 receiving yards and close to 60 TDs.

He's only 29 years old this season....another 4 or 5 good season and he'll have accumulated some monster numbers.

I know a lot of folks here bash him, but he's a damn good WR....and it doesn't really matter who is throwing the ball to him, he puts up big numbers no matter who is throwing it to him.

Calvin Johnson's numbers are also impressive.

He's only 28 years old.

He's got 554 career receptions for 9,034 receiving yards and 65 TDs.

I don't think he'll catch a lot of Jerry Rice's career numbers, but he already has the single season receiving yardage mark of 1,964 receiving yards, that he accomplished last season. Jerry Rice held the previous record with 1,848 receiving yards in 1995.

I think he also has the single game record at like 330 yards receiving or something

Close....Calvin Johnson has the 2nd highest single game for receiving yardage in NFL history with 329 receiving yards versus the Cowboys earlier this season.

Flipper Anderson still holds the NFL record with 336 receiving yards against the Saints in 1989 when he was with the Los Angeles Rams.

He is a head case and drops a lot of balls he should catch but he is more physical than Decker and DT and won't put up with any BS a CB gives him.

I like Marshall on the field but don't miss the off field distractions and comments. Very happy with DT even after his worst game since his rookie year.

Yea but could you imagine Manning throwing to DT, Marshall, Welker, and Decker?

Now that would be sweet

Houston is now 2-9 and is in line for the #2 draft pick, behind only Atlanta.

Two playoff teams from last year are now the 2 worst teams in the NFL. Atlanta was in the NFC championship game last year. How the mighty have fallen.

Does anyone still think Kubiak survives this season with his job?

Probably not. Shanahan may get canned too. That would be cool if they reunited with each other elsewhere. But I heard Kubiak will be in demand for some college level gigs.

Good to see that Carolina QB coach Ken Dorsey has revived Cam Newtons career.

Not surprised.

They went out in style as well.

Refs really dropped the ball there, even more than the Skins receivers did on that drive.

Garçon had a night to remember.

Pretty good read and insight into the life of an NFL referee.

Game 150: A Week in the Life of an Officiating Crew

The MMQB went behind the scenes with NFL referee Gene Steratore and his crew for an unprecedented look at the pressures and responsibilities of the third team on the field on NFL Sundays: the seven men in stripes who enforce the rules. In Part I, we meet—and agonize with—the boss
