Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet

Browns obviously fear serious knee injury for Brian Hoyer. Exited with crutches, couldnt put weight on it. Too swollen to get clear MRI read

Looks like the reverse Kurt Warner. Weeden loses job to injury, Hoyer goes HAM and now Hoyer gets hurt and Weeden gets job back.

Brandon Weeden sucks....he's no Kurt Warner in terms of performance on the field.

I guess it could be a reverse Kurt Warner though....one was tagging canned creamed corn in aisle 4 at the grocery store before he played in the NFL....and the other one may be tagging canned cream corn in aisle 4 at the grocery store soon.

Browns QB Brian Hoyer tore his ACL, an MRI confirmed. Done for season.

Paging Josh Freeman...

He would be a backup. Weeden is taking that gig.

Man the Browns are cursed. I would normally say he can rehab and come back next season, but it's the Browns. He'll likely get a staph infection and his career will end.

I thought the bungles had the staph infections because Mike Brown was too cheap to buy (let a lone wash) jock straps.

Browns are just cursed because they let Paul Brown walk (even though it was probably the right thing to do).

Charles misses practice

Feets don't fail kFc now! -or - I've Got Blisters On My Fingers!

KANSAS CITY, MO. (AP)
The Kansas City Chiefs were missing several key players, including Pro Bowl running back Jamaal Charles, as they began preparing for Sunday's game at Tennessee.

Charles missed Wednesday's workout because of blisters on his feet. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he believes Charles will be ready to go against the Titans.

Top cornerback Brandon Flowers remained out of practice with inflammation in his knee, and starting free safety Kendrick Lewis has been dealing with a sprained ankle.

Rookie right tackle Eric Fisher, the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, is still undergoing evaluations from a concussion he sustained in last weekend's 31-7 win over the Giants.

Even punter Dustin Colquitt was out of practice. He hurt his knee last Sunday.

Shouldn't it be the Ravens that are cursed?

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel has a lateral collateral ligament sprain in his right knee that will keep him out a few weeks, coach Doug Marrone said Friday.

Where's that thread about running QB's and their viability?

Meanwhile old and slow Peyton Manning is one of the fewest sacked and fewest hit QB;s.

Let's say Stokely filed his retirement papers and got a job as a wr's coach or something - would he be able to play again if someone offered him a contract later on?

Tatum Bell is always just a phone call away, or trip to the local mall.

What alternate reality thread do you see that happening in?

After mocking you I do admit to missing the days when the NFL relied on Player coaches.

Peyton also has a severely jacked up neck. Playing through injuries doesn't mean you don't get hurt.
