I did particularly enjoy when Polamalu came through that line like a locomotive into Locker. Reminded me of Romo in SB 33. Oh and let's not forget the kid for Tenn who took the kickoff then stepped into the end zone. He will never live that down.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet

#Patriots WR Danny Amendola, who turned in a gutty 104-yard performance in the opener, is almost certain to miss the Jets game, source says

LeSean McCoy looked damn good in Chip Kelly's offense last night.

If he stays healthy, he will put up some incredible stats.

He looked like he was on godmode, but no one had any idea what Chip's O was going to look like. Even McDaniels went 6-0 before people figured out that every play was a screen pass.

I'll be much more impressed if he turns in a comparable performance in week 10.

After the half and they settled things down the Redskins were coming back. And that was with RG3 having the rust of a sunken WWII destroyer. Also Kelly makes me want to punch him in the face.

I hate Chip Kelly and I hate the Eagles.

I agree with you that the NFL needs to not be a haven for dirty NCAA coaches.

Speaking of, you guys see that OSU was giving recruits hookers?

Looked to me like Philly went super conservative about halfway through the 3rd quarter. bend no break defense (prevent the big play) and run first, run second and run third offense.

Wrong motivation. Dick-Chip would've poured it on but Vick was broken by that point.

Leaning on McCoy was the only option.

Yes, they did try to slow things down and had trouble doing so as discussed in the article linked below.

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...night-football

Quote:
The problem was that, after halftime, the Eagles tried to slow things down, and they found that, as counterintuitive as it might sound, it's harder for a team built for speed to slow down than it is for a slow team to speed itself up. After all, every team, fast or slow, has a two-minute drill. The Eagles just start theirs at kickoff.

"That was a lot of fun for the first half and a lot of nerve-racking, bad play in the second half," said Eagles center Jason Kelce. "Like I said, when we're doing our tempo things, and the things we've been working on a lot, it went really well for us. But then we have to be able to close out the game. We have to be able to slow it down and trim some clock when we have that many points on the board. That's really when we began to fall apart as a unit."

You'll feel even worse when you realize just 10 slots lower we drafted Richard Quinn and overpayed for the spot to a point where we easily couldve had Philly's pick.

I'm just worried that as slow as this Broncos team sometimes starts they'll be down 21-0 before they know what hit them.

My hope is last season it took until the Chargers game to get things going.

This season it only took one half of football.

That was the first thing I thought about him. The Pats will be lucky to get a half season out of him.
