Bellicheat can thank his good buddy Schiano for supplying the Pats best defensive player (Talib) for next to nothing.

Talib was a knucklehead in Tampa but that trade was stupid. Pats robbed them on the Talib and Blount trades.

Schiano is just another McDaniels, probably a favor for helping him land the job.

I honestly thought he would be a pretty good NFL coach. But he doesn't understand that this is not 17-18 year old boys. These are grown men who get paid to play. That military **** isn't going to work. It will get him fired next year though.

If they are smart they will fire him sooner than that. I find it amazing that no one makes the connection between Schiano's hiring and Josh Freeman's complete collapse as a QB.

TB has really shot themselves in the foot on their coaching decisions. This is kind of strange because they have a good GM. IIRC Schiano was not their first choice, they wanted another college coach badly (was it Chip Kelly?). The thing with Schiano is that the GM needs to sit down with him and talk to him about his coaching style. That's what I'd do. I'd tell him that these highly paid players are not kids (even though off the field many are) and that you have to coach them a certain way. You don't have to be a push over, but you have to earn their respect. Good coaches know how to do this, idiot coaches don't and end up out of the NFL after a few years, or remain as assistants or coordinators.

Schiano has a fantastic opportunity here. I'd like to see him succeed.

Chargers lose Dwight Freeney for season

Dwight Freeney’s first season with the Chargers is over after four games.

Freeney, the veteran outside linebacker who signed with the Chargers in May, is headed to injured reserve and out for the year, U-T San Diego reports.

Freeney suffered a torn quad in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Cowboys, and he will require at least a few months of recovery time.

Chargers placed WR Malcom Floyd on injured reserve with a neck injury, ending his season.

He really isn't very good. It's going to be business as usual in Pitt.

Peyton Manning needs 405 passing yards to pass Dan Marino and move into 2nd place on the all time passing yardage list.

Dan Marino: 61,361 passing yards

Peyton Manning: 60,957 passing yards

Plain and simple. Slight upgrade, but really more like a lateral move after compensation is factored in.

If we trade for Peterson there will be a semen flooding situation in Northern Florida or where-ever Rev happens to reside currently.

AFC West matchup and most on the East Coast could give a rat's ass. This does suck for the majority of Raiders fans who hear "Lights Out" around the middle of the 1st quarter and will miss the complete game.

Between DRC, Tony Carter, and Trindon Holliday we don't don't need Peterson and are just fine. I know some people are pissy about Carter giving up garbage time yards last week when the game was on ice but he is a solid CB who can man up with the best. I don't get the dudes who don't like him. I will take guys who work as hard as he does even when faced with giving up size vs the taller and bigger WR's.

That said I can't wait for Champ to get back.

It would be nice to see them even just give Champ a couple snaps here and there to work him back in and be active just from a depth perspective.

Agreed. Carter is a solid sticky cover guy. I think he'll get better too.

Just think, when Champ comes back, Carter is like our 4th CB. We have it pretty good. You could have some chump like Courtland Finnigan as your starting CB..........lol
