No, Wilson is Tiki Barber before he learned to carry the ball high and tight.

I can't see how they can call that penalty at the end on David for Tampa. Smith was trying to get the 1st down he had to push him out. Smith could have extended his arm to get the 1st down if David hadn't pushed him.

Wilson is a good running back, with a lot of explosiveness and ability to make guys miss. Fumbling has been something of an issue so far during his NFL career...but besides that he and hillman aren't that similar. Wilson is a way better player

There was only 1 RB who went over the 100 yard rushing mark in Week 1 (2 Monday Night Games to go): Shane Vereen for 101 yards.

There was also 1 QB who ran for over 100 yards: Terrelle Pryor for 112 yards.

I thought it was interesting statistic....one RB over 100 yards rushing....and even then it was only for 101 yards.

Yeah. After the way AP began the game yesterday you could have just penciled him in for 150 or more.

I watched the Steelers/Titans game. The Steelers are going to be in for a long year it looks like. The Titans D looks much improved with the addition of Greg Williams. Their O line looks more stout and even though CJ didn't have a monster day the two running backs behind him on the depth chart look very solid. Jake Locker looks pretty bad though.

Giants are in big trouble @ starting RB. They should pick up Willis McGahee.

Wait... he didn't go for 100??!?!?!

Wow, I just checked the state line, only 93 yards (3 touchdowns, however). 78 came on one play.

They really need to get some other play-makers on that offense.

Smith was already a yard out of bounds when he reached out to push him more. It was a legit call if a little bit weak. I don't think they would have called it if it was an RB or WR with the ball there.

The New York Giants will work out free agent running backs Brandon Jacobs and Willis McGahee on Tuesday, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

That high and tight won't help Wilson for the fumbles he had. They were just getting ball ripped from his arms in a pile by a stronger player.

Maybe the giants shouldn't have been playing important players in that 4th preseason game.

I could totally see Willis McGahee playing for the Giants....he'd fit in well there....as long as he holds on to the damn ball.

I was thinking the same thing when commentators mentioned that they probably would be looking at a running back. Of course they will pick up Jeremiah Johnson so they will know our schemes and he will break off 2k in their system.

They have playmakers. They have no quarterback

I just wonder whether guys like McGahee and Jacobs are in playing shape. Could they really step in and play this Sunday?!?

If the Giants are counting on either to make a difference THIS SUNDAY, they are desperate.

In other news, Ridley's agent is trying to say the same about his client.

Speaking of the Pats......when Amendola went out in the first half, holding his groin, my daughter says to me, "Daddy, why is that man holding his pee-pee?"

Yeah but you have to learn to secure that ball. Whether it's high and tight or with two hands.

Now that first one. There was almost no way to avoid that one.
Short of gluing that ball to his hand and jersey he had almost no shot.
The next one and his previous ones last year were all fixable.
