Those seahawk fans should really do a spoof retirement mockumentary kinda thing about his retirement. I'm thinking dripping sarcasm layed over the top of a distant, deranged sort of hatred while they reflect on his achievements and contributions as a Seahawk.

Von may like to have fun but I really don't think he's that stupid. This is it for him and he has to know that. I'm sure that all the important people in the front office and in the locker room have reached out to him and made it clear. Yes, it's on him now, and no i dont think he'll **** it up.

For this reason, i've been wondering why we don't have a veteran backup on the roster (a Charlie Batch type). A smart game manager that can learn the offense quickly and won't make mistakes. Let's be honest, if Peyton goes down for the year we are done (like basically every team and their starting QB). But if he misses 6 games, we need a guy that gives us a shot at winning 3 of them and I just don't think Oz is that guy right now. So either they are banking on Manning's health, thinking that he will either be completely healthy or that any sort of neck or nerve injury will probably be serious enough to put him out for the year, or they have already decided that they would trade for a QB if the time came. Then again, they had Brock with the 1s in the preseason so maybe they really think he can be good enough.
Oz's first season we did carry a vet qb. I suppose the FO feels after watching him in practice he will give us as much as a vet qb would at this time. I am inclined to trust the FO's judgment on this one. We get to see more of Oz tonight

Hopefully, the FO was sober enough to do that.

Curry and McClain are too of the biggest WTF's in draft history.
Both were supposed to be near mortal locks to be great. At least McClain was a serious ****ing moron. That explains his issues.

That dude with the 319 jersey would get annoying after a couple minutes. I would have to tell him to get off my lawn.

Being on his last leg helped Moreno when he got called upon.
Von is a much more important piece of the puzzle and in line to make a hell of a lot more money in his career.

Why is Eli playing? Bend that knee the wrong way and the city of NY would have a bounty on coughlin.

Andre brown broken leg. No idea why coughlin was playing significant players.

Including me. I wanted us to draft him so badly. Though I thought he'd be a #5-#10 pick rather than #3.

Ooof....tough break for Andre Brown.

David Wilson's fantasy football value is skyrocketing.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet
More Bears cuts @jmarcuswebb: Good bye, Chicago! I gave you 3 years of me.
OT J'Marcus Webb

Went from starting left tackle to cut. Can't believe it took them 3 years to realize he's horrible.

Matt Tennant cut from Philly.

http://www.csnphilly.com/football-ph...trim-roster-62

I remember this guy coming out of BC; thought he looked like a potential NFL Center at the time.

Anyone been following his progress? Looks like a journeyman arc...drafted by New Orleans and cut by them, signed by the Patriots, and now cut by the Eagles.

Is there anything worth developing there? Or have the powers that be determined that he doesn't have the requisite NFL skillset?

Interesting note on the Pats:

Quote:
The Patriots still have questions at the tight end position, but they decided Daniel Fells wasn’t the answer.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Patriots have released the veteran tight end.

They signed him to a three-year, $5.25 million deal last year, but he caught just four passes last year.

The fact he was on the field in the second half with Tim Tebow last night should have been a sign, but they’re apparently comfortable enough with their other options until Rob Gronkowski returns.

UPDATE 12:58 p.m. ET: According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe, they’re releasing tight end Jake Ballard as well.

That leaves Gronkowski, undrafted rookie Zach Sudfeld and Michael Hoomanawanui at the position, which mean Gronkowski’s either closer to health than anyone realizes, or they have plans for Tebow we don’t know about.

Well if you did a search you would see in 2011 there was a thread about Curry that I posted in. This isn't new news.

Dude is in the first game of the first year of his 5 year and $60 million contract and he is sulking and unhappy already....good luck dealing with him, Miami.

It looks so tacky when you sulk after a win.
