This was an easy one for me way before we even traded Cutler.

Pretty good debate on the best QB in the NFL. Jay Cutler or Alex Smith?

Did SoCal put that picture in the Jay Cutler 2013 part of his scrapbook?

I'll give you a hint:

I'd have gone nuclear on a trade like that for ANY WR. There isn't one that's worth that much.

I liked Plummer until he quit on the team after the 2005 AFC Championship loss.

typical east coast bias. There's a good chance the Raven's defense will be better but then again, the loss of so many leaders might hamper the growth. It does take less time for a defense to gel than an offense so I can see the ratbirds defense being a top 10 defense. The question is how will the offense do?

I'm sure that I'm not the only one that thinks Anquan Boldin will prove to be an absolute steal for San Francisco this season.

Nope that was after he started going out with Kristin Cavallari. Paparazzi had been hounding him for months.

That was a horse **** trade. The NFL shouldn't allow hook ups from brothers like that.

Nope. It was during a home game where for the first half he was like 6-20 and 40 yard. After half time he plays better and we win the game I think.

Edit: It had nothing to do with some fan using Tillman to call out Plummer. He was getting Booed like he!! for the first half.

That story didn't come out til a few weeks after. Reporters asked him after the game and he didn't say that. The whole statium was booing him for playing like $h!t.

Well he quit on Shanahan because he drafted Cutler.

His quitting on the team forced Shanny to draft Cutler.

Read "A few seconds of panic"

Shanny wanted him to be more of a leader and participate in the non-mandatory team drills. Plummer didn't want to then got butt hurt when Cutler was drafted to push him.

Plummer of all QB's we had needed to work harder, especially since teams took away his bread and butter after Pitt showed the template to beat him by taking away the boot.

Shanny drafted Cutler because he wasn't happy with Plummer, that appears to be what happened. Why Shanny didn't like Plummer is speculation on our part but I do think it had something to do with Plummer's lone ranger attitude in that he didn't worship the ground Shanny walked on and Plummer kind of did things his own way.

For all the great things to like about Plummer, he did have an issue authority and I think he was a little burned out on the NFL. I would have loved it if he had put more time into being the Broncos QB, that is, the hardest worker on the team and all that (ala Manning) but that just ain't who he is. It was too bad the way things ended.
