Josh Gordon is predicted to go in the 3rd round of the supplemental draft.

I could see teams like the Dolphins, Redskins, or Bills taking him in the 3rd round.

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints have reached an agreement on a five-year, $100 million contract that all sides concur will guarantee Brees an NFL-record $60 million, including a first-year take in 2012 of $40 million, according to league, players union, and team sources.

they just gave Brees $40m for one year. One year. They will probably give him $20m in year two, and then the rest over the remainder of the contract. $60m in two years is huge. Manning will be getting around $40m in two years with the Broncos.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens signed Ray Rice to a new five-year contract Monday worth roughly $40 million.

The Ravens and their standout running back went right down to the 4 p.m. deadline before hammering out the deal. Had Rice not signed, he would have played the 2012 season under the $7.7 million franchise tag tender.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has been arrested in Texas.

According to MyFoxdfw.com, the NFL superstar was arrested in DeSoto, TX and is facing a Class A family violence charge ... however the details surrounding the arrest are unclear.

Law enforcement tells us 23-year-old Bryant is not currently in custody.

When contacted by a local media outlet, Bryant confirmed there was an incident ... but wouldn't get into specifics. He did say, "I'm good."

This isn't Bryant's first brush with the law ... earlier this year, he was detained by Miami police after he was allegedly involved in an altercation outside LIV nightclub ... but he was not arrested and no police report was filed.

Contract negotiations between the Denver Broncos and OT Ryan Clady have hit a snag. The two sides recently exchanged proposals but the numbers were far enough apart that a league source said an extension by the time the team reports to training camp next week does not seem likely. Clady is scheduled to make $3.5 million this season in the final year of his rookie contract.
