Schaub done for season, as is my fantasy team without him. Can we trade Orton for Tate somehow?

Why is the trade deadline so flippin early in the season? Makes no sense.

If they fold with Leinart and miss the playoffs, does Kubiak get another free pass or does he get the ax?

Just look at their win over the Bucs. Shaub was 11/15 for 242 but 158 yds of that came on two plays and both were big run after the catch plays. Take those away and he's 9/13 for 84 yds. That was good enough to destroy TB. If he can't eek out a few more wins and back into the playoffs with that, he deserves to lose his job. I just don't see it happening. |

Mario Williams Season ending injury, Arian Foster banged up hammy for first few games, AJ out several weeks and now Schaub... I think he willow get the injury excuse and return.

I think Houston will continue to win games with Matt Leinart at the helm....at least enough games to win the division.

Houston's success has perhaps been more about their defense (1st in ypg, 2nd in ppg) than offense (8th in ypg, 5th in ppg). So maybe they'll survive.

![]() Excellent. I loved this in the comments: JaysonAych I can just picture Gruden watching Brad Johnson throw the ball away after getting out of the pocket, thinking to himself, “How the **** do we keep getting away with these? There hasn’t been a grounding call yet this season! This is awesome!” |

Supposedly Kolb was telling his team what the plays were during the AZ-Philly game. If they really didn't update their signals, we should all come together to give Andy Reid one big, collective facepalm.
From the PFT article: “During the two-minute drill, you almost feel guilty,” Kolb said. “Mike’s sitting there giving the signals, and I’m standing there on our sidelines, screaming at our corners, ‘Hey it’s a go ball, hey he’s running a screen, hey he’s running a slant.’” |

Hey, give Andy Reid a break here. I really think it's unreasonable to think that Vick could learn a new set of signals. I mean he'd be so hopelessly confused mixing up the old ones with the new ones nobody would know what he'd think he was running out there.

I've got to give Tony Gonzalez his props.
He is now 2nd all time in career receptions....which is insane for a tight end. 1119 career receptions for 13,024 receiving yards and 95 TDs. Dude is 35 years old and has 50 receptions for 561 yards and 7 TDs this year. He's only missed 2 games his entire career. Impressive....but Shannon Sharpe has 3 rings and Gonzo hasn't even come close to sniffing one. |

maybe not Vick, but Ron Mexico could do it and he'd spread the Herp to all the skanks in the process!
