Did you say the same thing about Champ in 2004 when 10 mil was the unprecedented amount?

QB's,WR's & pass rushers are about the only players that get 15 mil a season.
and it's really just QB's.

that is too much cap space for a CB, no matter how good he is. that's like 15% of the total cap allotted to a team. i had no problem with giving Champ 10 mil then or now. but you don't pay a CB 15 mil for any reason until the cap goes up to like 160 mil.

The cap was 80 mill back then. It's literally the exact same % of the cap.

Chiefs reached agreement in principle on a four-year deal with former Dolphins TE Anthony Fasano.

I like this signing for them.

Wallace had the Fins over a barrel, and I'm sure his agent knew it.

He has good size. I would have been more scared if they got Bennet. Fasano is an upgrade for them but he is not a big threat, his stats are pretty lame, a good 2nd TE to go with Moieaki

Fins take Ellerbe too. Wallace and now Ellerbe. They're getting serious down there.

Fasano had 41 catches with 0 drops last year. Only had 1 drop in 2011. 2 in 2010.

In 2012 Fasano had the most catches with no drops of any TE in the last 5 years.

He was a fantastic signing IMO.
