Default McCains' highest paid staffer 1st half of october

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/1..._n_137513.html

If Palin's $150,000 shopping spree had Republicans disgusted, then the report that her makeup stylist cost $22,800 for the first two weeks of October should have them livid. The stylist, Amy Strozzi, was apparently paid more than any other McCain staffer during that period

I think when we talley up what has been spent on this election, we'll come to the conclusion that most on the money could have been spent better elsewhere.

Nah. They spend that money anywhere else would have been considered to be "socialism". At least the money went to a person who is a good capitalist given the "exclusivity" of her skills and the inconvenience of travel..........

At a time when many Americans are struggling to feed their families... and when their 401K's have lost a significant percentage of their value... yes, I think many will find Palin's extravagance outrageous.

People have this weird notion that when a candidate gets a campaign
donation they go to the mens room and flush the money down the toilet.

But here is the reality. When a candidate buys an ad on TV it
pays all the people that work at the TV station, the reporters,
the weather girl, the sports guy, the technicians that operate
and maintain the cameras, transmitters, microphones. Even
the janitor. And it lets the TV station broadcasts things we like
to watch on TV, like a Broncos game.

Where are all the wingnuts who made such a big deal about John Edwards' haircut?

Gotta love that right-wing double standard, eh?

Hey, even the barber probably has a family to feed.

For that matter, no doubt the salesgirl made a good commission
on the outfits she sold to Palin. Spread the wealth, baby.
