Default Bye Week Changes.

The first changes are already coming in:

Denver cut defensive tackle Steven Harris from the practice squad Tuesday. He spent some time on the 53-man roster last season as a rookie from Florida.

Chiefs reverse preseason decision

One of the more intriguing story lines of the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp reversed field Tuesday.

The Chiefs signed kicker Connor Barth to be their new place-kicker. He replaces Nick Novak. Novak made 6 of 10 field goal attempts this season. He made one of three attempts Sunday in the Chiefs' 34-10 loss to Tennessee.

Novak beat out Barth in a closely contested battle in training camp. The final decision wasn't made until after the final preseason game. Barth, a rookie, will make his NFL debut Sunday at the New York Jets.

Also, Denver cut defensive tackle Steven Harris from the practice squad Tuesday. He spent some time on the 53-man roster last season as a rookie from Florida.

Well Shanny does have a history of cutting players during the season when the team doesn't do well. Last year it was Curome Cox.

I think he likes to keep players on the edge.
