Oh, He's not a socialist? Well, let's see...
Proposes large tax increases? Check. Wants to nationalize health care? Check. Approved government taking over control of banks? Check. Talks about "spreading the wealth", code speech for massive redistribution of private assets? Check. He walks like a socialist duck and quacks like a socialist duck. I'd say he's a socialist duck. Nobody who owns a business should feel safe having this man at the helm of government. Unless your business lives off the government, that is. |

Oh, let's see.
1. Wants to bring tax on people over $250,000 to the same level they were under Clinton, and the rate is only on the money above that amount. (reverse Bush's "gift" to the wealthy); 2. Reduce taxes on Middle class Americans who have been taxed to high h3ll and back by Bush to pay for the tax breaks for the wealthy (That's not a socialist concept, chum) 3. Wants a health care plan that provides affordable health care for all Americans. You need to read his plan before you even think about criticising it, which you haven't done. Spreading the wealth is to allow the Middle Class and the poor to enjoy the fruits of the future growth. This means using the progressive tax system fairly as it was meant to be, allowing the small business and middle class to keep more of the money they've earned and not give it to the wealthy. McCain walks lie a fascist, talks like a fascist and therefore is a fascist. Palin talks like a dupe, acts like a dupe and therefore she is a dupe. There are a number of very successful business men backing Obama. Try Buffet who could probably buy you ninety million times over. He also has Volker as an advisor. People like you who don't know what the h3ll they are talking about deserve sh*theads like McCain and Palin. I don't deserve them just like I did not deserve Bush and Cheaney. The country has lost its soul because of that shi*thead Bush, and I look forward to the Obama Presidency.... Please try and keep up with the truth.... |

Here you go, 'tard. I am making it easy for you to find it.
Barack Obama and Joe Biden's Plan On health care reform, the American people are too often offered two extremes - government-run health care with higher taxes or letting the insurance companies operate without rules. Barack Obama and Joe Biden believe both of these extremes are wrong, and that’s why they’ve proposed a plan that strengthens employer coverage, makes insurance companies accountable and ensures patient choice of doctor and care without government interference. The Obama-Biden plan provides affordable, accessible health care for all Americans, builds on the existing health care system, and uses existing providers, doctors and plans to implement the plan. Under the Obama-Biden plan, patients will be able to make health care decisions with their doctors, instead of being blocked by insurance company bureaucrats. Under the plan, if you like your current health insurance, nothing changes, except your costs will go down by as much as $2,500 per year. If you don’t have health insurance, you will have a choice of new, affordable health insurance options. Make Health Insurance Work for People and Businesses - Not Just Insurance and Drug Companies. Require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions so all Americans regardless of their health status or history can get comprehensive benefits at fair and stable premiums. Create a new Small Business Health Tax Credit to help small businesses provide affordable health insurance to their employees. Lower costs for businesses by covering a portion of the catastrophic health costs they pay in return for lower premiums for employees. Prevent insurers from overcharging doctors for their malpractice insurance and invest in proven strategies to reduce preventable medical errors. Make employer contributions more fair by requiring large employers that do not offer coverage or make a meaningful contribution to the cost of quality health coverage for their employees to contribute a percentage of payroll toward the costs of their employees health care. Establish a National Health Insurance Exchange with a range of private insurance options as well as a new public plan based on benefits available to members of Congress that will allow individuals and small businesses to buy affordable health coverage. Ensure everyone who needs it will receive a tax credit for their premiums. Reduce Costs and Save a Typical American Family up to $2,500 as reforms phase in: Lower drug costs by allowing the importation of safe medicines from other developed countries, increasing the use of generic drugs in public programs and taking on drug companies that block cheaper generic medicines from the market Require hospitals to collect and report health care cost and quality data Reduce the costs of catastrophic illnesses for employers and their employees. Reform the insurance market to increase competition by taking on anticompetitive activity that drives up prices without improving quality of care. The Obama-Biden plan will promote public health. It will require coverage of preventive services, including cancer screenings, and increase state and local preparedness for terrorist attacks and natural disasters. A Commitment to Fiscal Responsibility: Barack Obama will pay for his $50 - $65 billion health care reform effort by rolling back the Bush tax cuts for Americans earning more than $250,000 per year and retaining the estate tax at its 2009 level. |

Here ya go, 'tard. More stuff for you to understand.....
Socialism: Noun: a political and economic theory or system in which the means of production, distribution, and exchange are owned by the community collectively, usually through the state. Think about this: McCain will socialize the debt from the last 8 years of failed republican policies ("stimulus" packages, squandered corporate welfare, tax breaks for super rich and an unnecessary war). That's socialism at it's worst. He doesn't want social programs that can lessen the tax burden through preventative means and provide necessary benefits to the people, yet he'll require the responsible taxpayers to foot the bill for the financial debacle that came from deregulation. Republicans=Socialization without benefits. The Problem Increasing Debt: Under President Bush, the federal debt has increased from $5.7 trillion to $8.8 trillion, an increase of more than 50 percent. Irresponsible Tax Cuts: President Bush's policies of giving tax breaks for the wealthy will cost the nation over $2.3 trillion by the time they expire in 2009. Barack Obama and Joe Biden's Plan Restore Fiscal Discipline to Washington

I doubt he will come back here because he will ghost read the thread and split, not understanding anything at all. Next, he will turn on his radio to Rush and lay there sucking his thumb and whimpering....
Or is that too complicated for him? |

Um yeah. The tards are the ones that believe Obama isn't planning to tax us all. You over tax the wealthy and people think it doesn't ultimately come back to the rest of us. A dream land. Not to mention there are plenty of doctors who are quitting private practice with the chances good of socialized medicine on the way. In fact, I know of a handful who plan to get out of medicine and into financial consulting. If someone would go with the fair tax system, things would be so much better for everyone. With Obama and his plans, everyone(who pays taxes at least)will need to hire someone to do their taxes for them since if you think the system is complicated now, just wait.

Socialist is just another code word for "black" in this case. Any divisive word the GOP can think of will be used in the next 3 weeks.

No such thing as a athiest in a foxhole or a libertarian in a financial crisis. The government HAS to take over the banks or the banks won't lend to each other. I love when we fall back on socialism in times of need (stimulus packages, bailouts) to save us, but everyone simply calls it evil because its a buzz word from the cold war. |

Personally I think some of you could use to spend a few more Sundays in church and less time drinking wine and watching football. I will be adding some of you to my prayer list this weekend

It will and has proven in the past that it will. Will it **** up again? Sure. HUmans are imperfect and greedy. but this nationalization is NECESSARY. Markets only correct themselves when it hits extremes. We cant afford an extreme
