Oklahoma's new tourism campaign ad:

"Come for the cheap gas stay for the well um, er, um weather, ****, damn tornados, wait, come for the scenery, oh **** its flat. Ah hell we have cheap gas!"

-Sponsored by the Oklahoma Tourism and Travel Board.

Clearly you have never seen rush hour traffic in LA, SD, SF, or any of the major cities in CA. I can promise plenty of "spite" going on.

And you can get Barry Switzer's chicken!

I see a sign for his place every time I drive to Lawton to visit my brother.

Man, that place hasn't been open for like 5 years! ! It was good though!

Switzer has moved onto Golf Courses and storage facilities with his business partner Toby Keith....

I live in Moore, my sister lives in DC and my brother lives in LA, and they both wish they lived in Oklahoma.

I will say this. I liked Norman when I was there. I mean I liked being there for 3 days but a 4th wouldn't have been too much!

It seems like I always hear the cheapest gas is in Utah or Nevada

Are you saying living close to where oil is drilled makes your gas cheaper?

Not just oil. I beleive Utah pays below a dollar a gallon for Compressed Natural Gas. Where in Denver its in the $2 range. We have cars that run on CNG for when they are driving in the tunnels out here at DIA. They send them to auction and its full of people paying top dollar to buy them.
