Default Kristol Advises McCain to Reboot

Basically, the logic here is, you're getting your ass kicked, might as well try something different. Drudge is on board with the requisite slant if needed.
http://drudgereport.com/ What Drudge won't do for the "team."

Kristol is advising McCain to get "cheerful."
There are still enough doubts about Obama to allow McCain to win. But McCain needs to make his case, and do so as a serious but cheerful candidate for times that need a serious but upbeat leader.
Talk about lipstick on a pig. I'm afraid if McCain tried to act cheerful his head would explode. But I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

Now McCain says he's got the Obama campaign, "Right where we want them."

When all else fails, adopt the Fox News paradigm, I guess.

Unfortunately. I believe he can still win if he can get that moment's hesitation in the voting booth. The hesitation can be caused by a variety of factors, none of which the Obama people can control. At lest that I know. But the exploitation of those factors require a deft hand, and to this point the McNasty group has been as subtle as a meat cleaver at an Eye Surgery event. Prejudice is worth about 5 points for McNasty, but there are some points for Obama from the younger, intelligent, suave, svelte and charming voters who use anti-perspiration and anti body odor deodorants to good effectnlike those smelly neocons and related nutjobs. I think Obama wins teh national polls by 52% tp 49%, and the EC by much larger margin..........

On CNN, it was reported that McNasty said at the next "debate" he was going to kick Obama's "you know what". Yep, sounds like a new, more lovable McNasty. "Debates" have not been in a format that allowed anything but a rehash of old statements.....

I think this pretty much sums it up to date:

And if the race plays out as it should, he will be left with not much more than this bitter irony: He allowed the same family of politicos who torpedoed his candidacy from the outside in 2000 to do the same thing to his campaign, from the inside, in 2008.

Ouch! That's got to leave a mark.
