Shaq and Kobe face off
This is freaking hillarious.
ONE WEEK AGO, Shaq said that he would have NO COMMENT on the Kobe situation. Shaq said that it would be disrupive to even comment and that he or anyone else would even comment on the situation regararding Kobe's...umm....judgement.... Well that lasted less than a week. This just shows what a clown Shaq is, and Kobe is playing the victim in this whole thing when he is on a felony count. Nice. The feud goes on: Bryant, O'Neal trade barbs By David Leon Moore, USA TODAY EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The melodramatic feud that surfaces from time to time between Los Angeles Lakers superstars Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant has reached a more acrimonious level than ever just as the team begins its season tonight against Dallas. Lakers stars Kobe Bryant, left, and Shaquille O'Neal are involved in a media war of words. By Paul Connors, AP Neither O'Neal nor Bryant spoke to reporters at practice Monday, when Lakers coach Phil Jackson and newly acquired stars Karl Malone and Gary Payton tried to put the latest war of words behind them. But later Monday, in an interview with ESPN's Jim Gray, Bryant unleashed a barrage of criticism of O'Neal. (Related item: Bryant says Shaq may cause departure) If the Lakers are indeed O'Neal's team, as O'Neal had said Sunday, "it's time for him to act like it," Bryant said. "That means no more coming into camp fat and out of shape, when your team is relying on your leadership … or blaming staff members for not overdramatizing your injuries so that you avoid blame for your lack of conditioning." Asked if he considers O'Neal a leader, Bryant said, "Leaders don't beg for a contract extension and negotiate some $30 million-plus-per-year deal in the media when we have two future Hall of Famers (Malone and Payton) playing here pretty much for free. "A leader (does not) threaten not to play defense and rebound if you don't get the ball every time down the floor." The latest skirmish began Sunday when O'Neal said Bryant, who is recovering from offseason knee surgery and is facing sexual assault charges, shouldn't be shooting so much and is not a team player. Monday, Bryant, who said he probably won't play against the Mavericks. "My knee is not strong enough to play yet. I know it. When it is, I will play," Bryant said. "I probably won't play tomorrow night or until I'm ready." The Lakers said the report is premature. "Our understanding is that Kobe might not play because of the knee injury," Lakers director of public relations John Black said Monday night. "We think he probably will. That decision will be made tomorrow based on how Kobe is feeling and how his knee feels prior to the game." Bryant also said if he leaves the Lakers via free agency after this season, "a major reason for that will be Shaq's childlike selfishness and jealousy." Bryant also criticized O'Neal's advice on how to play hurt. "I've played with IV's before, during and after games. I've played with a broken hand, a sprained ankle, a torn shoulder, a fractured tooth, a severed lip, and a knee the size of a softball," Bryant said. "I don't miss 15 games because of a toe injury that everybody knows wasn't that serious in the first place." Malone and Payton came to the Lakers at a bargain price seeking one thing only: a championship ring that has eluded both of them. Instead they find themselves in a three-ring circus. "They're not paying me enough for this (stuff)," Malone said. Contributing: The Associated Press Totally lost in this little lovers spat is the alleged victim, who obviously is a tramp. I have seen her. Nonetheless, the beat goes on.... I love having Shaq saying he is the Deisel, when I wouldn't trust this idiot to push a baby carriage, and Kobe, who obviously pushed the envelope a little bit far with a virtual child. Did I mention he is married. La La Land....what will the professor do but shake his head.... one thing for sure....he will be absolved when it all comes tumbling down around him. After all, he screwed the owners daughter. |

The only thing missing is for Warren Sapp to stick his mellonhead in and give his unbiased opinion and the circle is complete.
Or "This is Carl Malone"...if it's yellow, it's mellow, if it's brown, flush it down....we gots an emergency out here.... |

Man, Shaq can be such a spoiled a-hole, it's just amazing.
He knows his teammate is going through all this crap and he takes the first opportunity to pile on. I never thought Kobe was guilty of anything except being a jerk, now even the judge is calling the prosecution's case is extremely weak. Whatever. He'll get his day in court and he'll have to live with the consequences. Here are Gary Payton and Karl Malone taking, literally $10 million+ paycuts, and last week Shaq was crying because he doesn't have a contract extension. He still has three years for a staggering $88 million remaining on his current deal. What Kobe said about Shaq coming into camp fat in recent years and out of shape is 100% correct as well. He waited until right before camp opened to have surgery last season. It was ridiculous and a real slap in the face to his teammates and Laker fans. |

The Shaq and Kobe feud is ridiculous!
When will these boys tire of their charade? Rumors are already swirling about Kobe being traded, only 1 year left on his current deal. |
