Default Is anyone voting FOR McCain?

I had a friend point out that while he knows a lot of people that are going to vote GOP in this election, that very few of them are really voting FOR McCain. When asked they'll go on and on about how evil, manipulative, closet muslim, and inexperienced Obama is. They rarely have anything positive to say about McCain. This election seems to be completely about Obama, your voting for him or against him... McCain is just kind of in the way.

Is that true? Are the McCain supporters on this board with McCain or against Obama?

I'm a registered independent with a number of hard core Republican friends. They are voting against the "liberal."

I don't know of anyone where I work that is voting for McCain.
If they are, they haven't said so. One woman said she is troubled
that Obama is a Muslim, but she never really said she was voting
for McCain.

Let me guess: She's one of those people who still believe Iraq attacked us on 9/11?

I'm voting against Obama, as much as I am voting for McCain. Not for any racist reason, but an ideological one. I don't believe in what Obama is pushing for this country, and believe the tax hikes and social programs he wants to implement, and will be able to with a democratic senate and congress.

McCain is the last Republican (Paul isn't really one) I wanted to get the GOP nod, so I am not a fan of his, and if there was a Republican Congress and Senate, I might consider voting against McCain.

As Roh noted, I am voting for McCain and have been supporting him since before even the GOP primary season started.

There are few that will admit to voting for McCain. A lot of those that are voting for McCain stereotype the Dem's like tnedator, while we sit in the midst of the biggest growth in government in our lives, an economy down the drain and a deficit to match no other from a Repub and a Repub congress that was in control for 14 years. Go figure.

The few I know that appear to be hedged to obama, have no clue on the real issues and cannot begin to explain his policies..........the informed people are a definite majority for McCain, that is, the ones who have taken the time to gather all the facts, despite the misrepresentation of them by the MSM. Sad, lots of very lazy americans who are cutting their own throats with potentially electing obama, 10 minutes worth of research would have saved them but alas, they want a handout, they are lazy...dman

Where I work, we do our homework and think through important decisions. When one gathers the information, and sets aside one's biases, and places all factors side by side for comparison, the choice is obvious. I can't help it if some americans don't know "how" to make an informed decision, or put another way, couldn't make an informed decision if their life depended on it. If you can't take your blinders off though, and are inherently lazy, and want everything handed to you, then go ahead and vote for obama. He's "your" kind of guy...dman

Basically, if you're voting for McCain, you're voting for four more years of Bush. No thanks.

Ok lers do that shall we ?
Healthcare mother ****er , McCain wanrs to give us 5,000 tax credit to help pay for healthcare , but guess what , we still pay income tax on it ...... tell a family man this is a good plan ....
Obama give incentives for employer supported healthcare plans , making it cheaper , recruiting more doctors etc ........ tel lthe working man that paying less for Health care is against his best interest
Taxes . again 95% of Americans get a tax break not the social elite . tell a working man that him getting a tax break is bad , and that he should vote for MCain who will help the rich .See how far you get .....
Energy , McCain Bush status quo .
Obama fast track alt energy , create 5 billion Jobs , tell the poor working mother ****er that it is in his best interest to pay more on energy ........
Like I said if Bull**** was gun powder , you would be 1 lethal jack ass .... As for people being lazy and wanted everything handed to them , you are so full of **** , I wouldnt be shocked to learn your eyes are brown

The choice is obvious - if you're greedy, cold-hearted, cutthroat and ruthless then you should vote for Mccain.
