There is no question we have the worst defense in the league. The Chiefs scored 32 points in 3 games leading up to this one. They scored 33 in this one alone.
It seems we have actually digressed each game and are worse than we were last year. What say you? |

is that far you know they were facing a QB that can win the close gamesthe D did way better this week the lose is not on them . KC was hugry and we were not . they were trying to strip the ball on every play and it worked they also was setting on the deep ball with there FS all day .

It's too soon to know. I think it'll be tough to top what our defense "did" last year, but there's always a chance.
I think ultimately our offense will help them out just enough to avoid a repeat performance, but I'd imagine we're near the bottom of the league in any measurable statistic. Our LBs seem more effective. The run D seems better.... at times. Not so much at other times. It's just a ****ing mess and I ****ing knew it was a mess from the first snap of the preseason. |

Saying our defense gave up 33 in this game is really misleading, considering one drive in particular started on our own one. They were constantly starting drives in our territory. LJ ran well, but it wasnt like they completely dismantled the d.
That said, its still pretty bad |

Last year we had to fire the DC halfway through the season and abandon the whole idea we started with. So how can you get worse than that? Unfortunately we found a way.

Hell the defensive game plan is more like sybil! Meaning 4-3, then 3-4... it's a mess. Even when they go 3-4 they use it incorrectly! Rush the outside backers not the insiders!

Today's result notwithstanding, the Chiefs are still the worst team in the NFL. Losing to this bunch is without excuse. I just consider it Karma for the two gift wins we got earlier.

I would trade the Saint's win for this loss. 3-0 in the AFC West better than 2-1...

Yep. Today proved that they didn't look terrible earlier because it was the Bolts or the Saints, they proved today that they can't stop anyone. They had a chance to man up in the 4th when they knew that the Chiefs weren't going to do anything but run it unless they forced to pass, and they couldn't stop ****.

Someone in the chatroom today said that the only time we get pressure is on a screen.
It's funny because its true. ![]()

KC was playing with Herb Taylor and Damien Mcintosh at tackles and everyone knew they were going to run LJ. I mean they did not try to trick with formations or anything just lined up ran the ball for 200 yards. Their only legit receiving threats are Bowe and Tony G and if you can't stop them who are you going to stop? KC oline is really bad and if you can't get pressure on Huard who are going to get pressure on?
No disrespect to KC but I honestly cannot image this KC team scoring > 10 points against strong run defenses like Pit or Bal. If the current Den defense is not the worst and I don't know what could be worse than this. BTW, I saw STL play Sea, Buf and Cin play NYG and they are definitely better than Den. |

We ran for 184 on Atlanta last week. Give us a little credit. You guys looked better on run defense in other games.
