Default US in financial free fall.....

Until recently -- leading $$$ pundits were telling us "the worst is over..."

Today, it is clear: that was hogwash.

We have just seen the collapse of two of the world's largest private investment companies, Lehman Bros and Merrill Lynch. Followed by a 500 point plunge on Wall Street.

And the worst is still to come.

It looks like in the next few days we will witness the failure of the much larger AIG (American International Group), an insurance company with one $$$$ trillion in assets.

If this happens it will be the largest bankruptcy in world history.
http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/0...kruptcy-today/

The repercussions are bound to be of epic proportions.

Yet candidate McCain is still spouting nonsense about how the US economy is "fundamentally sound"

How can it be that McCain is even with Obama in the polls -- or even ahead?

McCain's rhetoric about being a Washington outsider and the candidate of change is an obvious lie. Are the American people brain dead?

In fact, McCain's top $ adviser Phil Gramm helped draft the legislation that was responsible for the securitization revolution that caused this train wreck.

Is the answer that the Democrats are so lame they can't even beat a warmonger who has no answers and no program other than more of the same, (i.e., a 100 years' war)?

Why is there no true opposition party in America?

What we have is a uniparty system with a Republican wing and a Democratic wing. But why would American voters select McCain-lite (Obama) when they can have the real thing (i.e., a lunatic) simply by voting for McCain?

Are we living through the terminal phase of the breakdown of America? So it would seem.

No one knows where the bottom is, and until the housing market stabilizes we won't know. Fortunatelty, places like colorado and Wyoming have already leveled off. people just need to hang in there.

2012 is my prediction of when things will stabilize. Usually takes a decade for bubbles to stabilize

and as for Wyoming..

When it comes to recognizing breakdowns, you're the expert, ol' Mark "mini-nuke" Gaffney.

Hate to break it to you, but your dark fantasy of the collapse of the US ain't gonna happen, just like Tehran being a smoking crater (imminently, at least that's what you told us months and months ago) ain't gonna happen.

Funny how W*GS doesn't protest this kind of socialism:

Bailout of AIG announced

The government will rescue the ailing insurance giant with an $85 billion loan.

Did you know you just loaned AIG billions?

Who's next?

AIG was making quite a handsome profit already, thank you very much, in its insurance business, but they saw all this money being made in the subprime market - so they violated their own rules to grab after more and more cash.

PURE UNADULTERATED GREED

And they were not disclosing their risks. Someone should fry for this cooking of the books.

In all seriousness you greatest natural resource is wind... If I was Wyoming i would spend the next 5-10 years putting up a turbine on every sq inch of the land. With the new mandates that congress is placing on renewable energy you guys could become the in supplier to every utility company in the US.

Food shortages?

Not for me. I grow food year round in my solar heated greenhouse.

The walls are 15 inch thick concrete/stone -- to catch and hold the sun's heat in winter -- and keep it cool in summer. It's a fly wheel effect.

Frogs control the bugs -- also birds. They fly in and out.

I can grow all of my veggies. No herbicides or pesticides. Fully organic and fresh.

Nice!

Hope you are in a remote spot. There will be many hungry folks roaming around and you can't feed them all. That's the tough part IMO

Matthew thru Suzanne Ward

This is Matthew with loving greetings. We will present our requested
perspective on the potential for a very substantial and disruptive event
during the next sixty days, which the collective consciousness that some
individuals have the ability to tap into, have reported.

Those who planned the 9/11 and the dark forces behind them enabled the
Illuminati to manifest that tragic day. Thatis when Earth chose never again
to experience such death and destruction at the hands of dark ones, and in
honoring her free will choice, God authorized off-planet helpers to use
their technology to prevent all such unconscionable attempts anywhere in the
world. Since then they have done so successfully on as many as a dozen
occasions.

The Earth puppets of the darkness have been seeing their power erode to the
extent that it is do or die time, and despite their failure in plot after
plot, they feel that they still have a chance to prevail if they can prevent
both of the following scenarios that indeed will be very substantial and
disruptive events. And they cannot prevent either!

First, the undeniable presence of other civilizations. The time for their
announced appearance October 14 has simply come. If safety cannot be assured
for people on Earth and the souls in the star nations until that date, the
delay in that occurrence will not be lengthy. When it happens, it will be
extremely disruptive especially within the US government. It has been under
Illuminati control long time. Thus it has denied the possibility of other
civilizations' existence. And much less it has admitted that
extraterrestrials have met with its leaders. And even much less they have
admitted the consequences meted out to those beings who came with only
peaceful intentions.

Second, the truth about who planned and executed 9/11 with come out in the
open. In the higher vibrations in which Earth is now orbiting, that truth
cannot be hidden much longer. It will emerge along with its purpose, which
was much deeper than controlling oil resources in the Mid-east. The purpose
was to dominate the entire planet and kill many and enslave the rest. The
Illuminati's long reign of terror will now meet its just end.

The global impact of these two major events is part of the ongoing world
transformation. The spiritual renewal of Earth's humankind, the God-blessed
ascension venture with your space brothers and sisters is something all of
you on the planet chose in prebirth agreements to be participants of.

It is equally important that you know what other individuals who also have
the ability to tap into the collective consciousness are seeing. Many are
accurately seeing what we have described in Earth's Golden Age --the loving,
peaceful life of all peoples, the restoration of your planet's health and
beauty, the harmonious co-existence of humankind with all of Nature.

This wondrous higher dimensional Earth is on the near horizon and already
created in the continuum.
