Normally I'd have something to say about this, but not this time.

The Patroits built up an enormous amount of ill will last year with Spygate, the lack of punishment and the way they ran the score up on people so needlessly. Just about everyone who isn't a Pats fan hates them now.

After all that, you can only expect some people to celebrate their misfortunes. Personally I wouldn't do it...Karma and all that...but I won't jump all over someone who chooses to celebrate it.

Absolutely disgusting! Ill take the family pack. Actually, I dont think I could ever wear something like this. You can hate the team, but to go after them individually as I think Tom Brady is a great player and has nothing to do with spygate or whatever his coach makes him do. I am wondering if you KC fans would like a shirt touting the car that killed Thomas (or at least the lack of smarts not to wear a seatbelt).

It's a little different to celebrate a guys death. Brady isn't dead only out for 16 games. He's still rich, has a hot lady, has tons of friends, and a really nice car probably. Can travel and do whatever he wants everyday for the rest of life.

He just can't play football for a year and that isn't big deal really in the big picture.

I would say trying to compare it to wearing a shirt celebrating a guys death is on a whole other level.

It may be classless but IMO you have to be classy and professional everyday in life at work, with kids teachers, with neighbors, with clients etc. On Sunday I think fans should be able to get a little classless and have some fun. I don't agree with violence and such obviously but some trash talk or making fun of a guy hurting his knee isn't really a big deal.

My only question is why should Steeler fans give a flying ****? Shouldn't this be on a Patriots site?

my buddy who works for SI just interviewed the "founder" of the club.....

http://fannation.com/si_blogs/for_the_record/posts/2921

Something tells us the Bernard Pollard Fan Club wouldn't have experienced such dramatic membership spike in its first week if Kansas City's third-year safety hadn't delivered the Hit Heard Round New England. The club T-Shirt (right) -- a master stroke of schadenfreude -- is a bestseller for Steeler-centric apparel outpost Believe Merch. For the Record caught up with George Lampman, 41, who oversees Believe Merch while not acting as creative director for a different, undisclosed online T-Shirt store.

For The Record: So let's get this straight: You are a Steelers fan.

George Lampman: Yes, I am a Steelers fan. Born into it. We lived in a town called Edinboro, Pa., up north by Lake Erie. I had the option of being a Browns, Bills or Steelers fan -- and fortunately my dad was a Steelers fan.

FTR: Was it a dirty hit?

GL: No, definitely not.

FTR: Would you have liked more or less if it was dirty?

GL: No. If it was a Vince Wilfork going into J.P. Losman's knee [in Week 3 of the 2007 season], I wouldn't be making this shirt. This I don't think was a dirty shot. I've watched it a bunch of times.

FTR: How long did it take to come up with the idea?

GL: It was Monday. I was kind of noodling it around, trying to think of something, and it just went bam. "Hey, that'd be pretty good." But I didn't realize how much people would like it.

FTR: What's the response been like?
GL: Overwhelming. I've got a couple extra people coming in tomorrow to just help pack them. The original price was $13.99. I raised it to $24.99 tomto try and slow things down and the orders are still coming.
FTR: We saw some of the negative responses on your site. Are those the worst of them?
GL: Many crazier. Many, many, many crazier. Foul, descpicable descriptions of me, my family, my children. Diseases. Mostly horribly misspelled and barely a coherent thought in them. They make me laugh every time.

FTR: Where's the strangest place you've received an order from.

GL: I don't know if I've had an Alaska one yet but all over -- Kansas, California, New York, everywhere. There are tons of Jets fans trying to see if they can get overnight shipping so they can wear them to the game on Sunday. I just had a guy in Kansas City who wants to wear his in the first [home] game. It's been ridiculously huge. Since we've been talking, four orders have come in.

FTR: As a Pittsburgh fan, are you concerned by any karmic consequences this endeavor may invite?

GL: If I have that much power over the universe, everybody better watch the [expletive] out. [Laughs.] No, I don't have any worries or concerns about that at all.

FTR: Obviously there's a flip side of that question: Did you think the Patriots had it coming after the way they ran up scores last season?

GL: If there's a better example of karma, I can't imagine it. Eight minutes into the season? No, I don't think [the Brady injury was karma] but, based on the response I'm getting, obviously there are a lot of people who thought they had it coming.

FTR: Who did you root for in Super Bowl XXXVI?

GL: Gosh. It was probably the Rams. I might have actually … I don't even remember.

FTR: Was there ever a point when Tom Brady was a feel-good story for you.

GL: Not really. I really didn't pay much attention to him until he was, you know, what he is today. I knew of him. He came into Pittsburgh and killed us a couple times. But he wasn't the Tom Brady who was banging Gisele Bundchen.

FTR: Who would you rather see suffer: Brady or Belichick?

GL: Actually, Belichick. I think his divorce and the fine he got last year was probably pretty harsh. Tom's kicking back with Gisele he's not doing so bad. Hopefully [the injury] isn't career-ending.

FTR: Do you laugh at guys when they trip?

GL: Yes. [Laughs.] As long as they're not too seriously hurt.

I bought a F detroit shirt once before a Duh Bears vs detroit at Soldiers fields.

I washed it once and it shrunk up, plus it was scratchy. I threw it away.

If Billicheat got taken out by a sideline hit and couldn't coach and they made a t-shirt about him, I'd buy it. Tom Brady is all class though, but he's the only one in that entire town with any.

Why would the Patriots be selling a shirt commemorating the player that injured their franchise QB?

Patriots were a feel good story after 9/11(staged?), with the unknown soldier leading the troops from behind or whatever. But then, Biilichuck just got to be more and more an a-hole and Brady became paprazzi.

It had a nice ending last year, and this seals the end of the dynasty.

I guess Brady's knee is pretty mangled. Pollard said he had never seen a man scream like a stuck pig...
