Default Marcus Thomas' Pre-Game Injury Limited Him for Fades

Just an FYI for those of you who were looking for a Thomas Monday night. Hopefully all is cool and he and Robertson play mean and aggressive and nasty and regurgitate Fizzler lineman Sunday (okay, sue me for the B-movie visual...).

"Freak accident" limits Thomas.

Defensive tackle Marcus Thomas spent much of Monday's game on the sideline after getting poked in the left eye during pregame warm-ups.

"He couldn't see real well out of it," said Richard Burnoski, Thomas' agent. "It was just one of those freak accidents."

Burnoski said he did not think the injury was serious.

That being said, Kenny Peterson played very well Monday. He was in on several tackles, put pressure on the QB, and had a sack. A very nice game for our interior D, even with out M Thomas around much.

I alway liked Peterson out of OSU. Hell, I liked Shawn Rodgers too. We almost got him i guess.

We already look stronger againt the run.

Another good rotation DT and we are ok there. Just wish we could get 1 starter that is a beast run/rush DE to go along with all of our rotation guys.

We should package some picks and move up in round one to grab a DE.

Oh wait, we already did that.

Julius Peppers is an UFA next year. Sign him and draft the best MLB available and the personality of the D changes instantly.

Hold Doom and Moss both through next year and then make a decision after '09 on which one to invest in as the speed guy.

Peppers will want ridiculous amounts of cash. We have to sign our guys first. Then we can see who we can afford.

Peppers won't make it to UFA, the Panthers want him back and he is happy where he is.

Vance Walker, remember the name.

Another guy that got alot of playing time and not a whole lot of props is Nic Clemons. I thought he played well and was real active on the line. Seemed to be involved in alot of plays. Wasnt sure why these guys were getting alot of playing time.... thought someone got hurt. It all makes sense now.

Can we check Marcus Thomas cornea for prints and compare them to Kenny Peterson? it is a little convenient that Thomas accidentaly got poked in the eye in warmups and Peterson the comes in and plays a lot.
