The Ingle Martin was the precursor to the Astin Martin. Cucumber sandwiches are standard on the Ingle Martin.

Harry Ingle Martin IV, signed by the Chiefs from the Titans practice squad. I thought at first it might be a reference to Tee Martin, the former Tennessee Volunteers QB, but his full name is Tamaurice Nigel. It would be an easy typo from Nigel to Ingle, and probably an improvement over going by that first name (what WERE his parents thinking?), but no.

And does anyone know what the NFL policy is for Jr, Sr, or names that include numbers like this? Would it be allowed on the back of his jersey? That question is what I found most interesting about all this.

Cons: He has outstanding upside as a passer, but has a learning curve that will take time. Tough prospect with the athleticism to back up two positions and possibly start as a punter.

As a senior, he completed 212 of 349 pass attempts for 61 percent, a school-record 2,959 yards and 20 TDs, while leading Furman to an 11-3 record and Division I-AA playoffs semifinal appearance. He accounted for another school record 3,191 yards in total offense
