So who would McCain select if he was elected? I think I can make some good guesses.
Secretary of State - Joe Lieberman. He's gonna protect us all by taking away our guns, telling us how to raise our children, censoring books, movies, and video games. Man, life sure will be easy with Joe helping run the nation. Why think when we can turn on one of our three or four government controlled channels? Secretary of Treasury - Phil Gramm. He's gonna shake this nation of whiners out of its mental recession, by deregulating everything and letting us have a completely anarchistic free market. Yay! So who else would he appoint? Lieberman and Gramm are obvious to me. Lieberman was his actual VP preference. Gramm has been his top financial adviser for over a decade. Sounds like a promising 8 years right? |

Based on his VP pick and his eagerness to continue Bush's policies, it stands to reason that he would probably select a bunch of people whose only experience is training Arabian horses or something along those lines for the most important jobs.

Lieberman and Phil Gramm are basically locks for a McCain cabinet. Even Republican strategists acknowledge that. So a guy who would fit in the Sec. of State or Interior roles (Lieberman) who has spent most of his political career trying to tell us all how to eat, how to raise our kids, what to own, what to watch, and what to listen to. The next has called us a "nation of whiners" said we're in a "mental recession" and is directly responsible for sliding the Enron Loophole through. Don't blame me when they run this country further into the ground. Hell, their view of "energy policy" will keep me employed and making six figures year after year so I guess I can't complain. It'll be the other 90% fighting over my and the other top 10%'s table scraps that should be worried. |
