I think we need to take a step back and really look at what three starting offensive rookies, plus Prater did last night.

Even if the Raiders' defense is "expansion team" quality (which they are not), to have a rookie left tackle start and ace his assignment in his first NFL game is unheard of. Then you have a rookie receiver leading the league in yardage after his very first game. Plus Hillis blowing open holes like he's been doing it for years.

Then the rookie undrafted kicker calmly knocks down a couple of field goals and all his extra points in one of the most hostile environments in the NFL. Plus, he booted all but one (I think) kick off into the endzone.

The offense and kicking unit hit on all cylinders, the likes of which we haven't seen in quite some time, and four rookies were keys to the success.
