This thread is absolutely priceless. It goes through 4 phases:

1. Fired up optimism:

less than an hr to go and trying to stay pumped and positive but doubt continues to linger. We fought hard last season against the Broncos and was inches away from the sweep, but that was then and this is now. I think we can really open some nice playaction passes and stuff the run down their throats and wear em down. Hopefully we won't be pinned with our backs against the wall with silly penaltys and force some turnovers.

2. Anger and a lot of blaming the refs

2 consecutive plays with no calls! WTF!!!

WHERE IS THE FREAKING FLAG??

You get the idea...

3. By halftime, its become irrational anger. The refs hate them, ESPN hates them, everyone hates them. There is hope tho:

Well, according to me, trying to be optimistic (??) if we shut them out the 2nd half, we have a chance? But wait, they have another chance now to ice the game!

Chaz is looking good. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think we'll see a completely different team in the second half. It looks like we're playing a bunch of rookies and guys who are not used to playing with each other....oh wait we are. We may lose guys, but this is the bottom and we'll much better than this.

Does Tom Jackson make anyone else sick?

His gloating is just pathetic....no class.

The broncos are not playing that great good enough to beat us. We are beating our selves ...

lol i love how espn shows the 3 or 4 people in the stands that are tired....they also include the guy holding the "kiffin must go!"sign just to kick us when were down.

This one is a complete gem:

they only started calling the game down the line for both sides after half time when they got done bashing the Raiders. Either they felt bad for us or someone behind the scenes got em to tone it down.

4. Finally Acceptance:

Well after watching all the games this week, we look the worst...i think we owe an apology to the Denver fans coming in here predicting a win...we have been telling them to eat crow...but it is us who got a **** load of crow tonight...Sorry fellas, im sick of this , more than 5 years strong of being down right thrown around....I know all You Davis ass munchers, will call for Kiffs' head (not that i would be upset if he got fired,but for who Lofton?...yeah he will make us SB contenders...right....)But i Think Kiffen was right... Rob Ryan needs to go...This D is down right misery...no blitz....not alot of man coverage tonight...Either Ryan needs to go...or Davis set our team back years by overpaying Wilson , and Deanglo "getting SMOKE by a rookie ROYAL" Hall...Our strong point is our weakest link...so who is to blame...Davis for the personel moves or Ryan with the play calling?...Either way...im hurting brothers im sick, and this team needs to just rebuild (Offensive line, anyone) and start over.

I just had to restrain myself from throwing a brick at the TV. Shanahan's on praising his team.

Can't blame him, damn it, but that only makes it worse....

what are they talking about getting hate from ESPN, the first hour of the game was talking about how "greatlol) the CB tandem they had was. How McFadden was going to be a star, and that Russell has a great chance to be a real good QB.
The lone bright spot of that team is Asomugha(no idea how to spell that name or pronounce it) and he is gone after this season because Davis blew all that team's cap money this season on guys he shouldn't have burned it on.
By the end of the game i was just laughing at the fans they showed in he stands. Great way to open the season, this could be a game that at the end of the year the team looks back on and says that is what lit the fire for a great season.
