'Twas the day of the beat-down
'Twas the day of the beat-down, Mere hours before the attack
Not a player had hope, the hapless Silver & Black
The dingy gray helmets were hung on the goal post with care,
In hopes that a miracle would somehow arrive there;
The Raiders were all hunkered deep down in their bunkers,
While crack ho's and junkies arrived to tailgate in their junkers;
And Al Doofus in his 'jogging outfit, and Kiffin in his lap,
Both had just settled down for a pre-game tickle and slap,
When out on the field there arose such a clatter,
They sprang from the training room to see what was the matter.
Away through the locker room they stumbled and cursed,
slid down the tunnel ready for the worst.
The warm morning sun on the Arm of the Bronco QB glowed
Gave the luster of greatness to Jay Cutler below,
When, what to Al Doofus's watering eyes should appear,
But Shanahan, and his coaching staff drinking their beer,
Marking their territory with a stream and a sneer,
Al Doofus had been dreading this day that was at hand.
The week that the Broncos would invade their sad land,
Mike whistled, and shouted, and called out some names;
"Now, Cutler! Now, D.J now, Scheffler and Champ!"
Pointing to the endzone, “tonight this is where our offense will camp”.
To the top of the ramp. Peeking over the wall!
Doofus and Kiffin felt two feet tall.
So up to the club house-top they both fled in fear,
This game and another losing season was drawing much too near.
A thud then a loud sound had them both turn around,
Down the stairs came JaMarcus Russell with a bound.
He was dressed as a janitor, moving quiet as he could
He was obviously trying to sneak out the back while the gett'n was good
Right behind was a limping Walker and sniveling Lelie,
The hope was the fleeing retreat was limited to only these three.
The crowd now could be heard charging in from the streets.
If not for the Broncos fans, there would be only empty seats
The start of the Anthem and jets overhead,
Soon gave the warning of the Raiders impending dread;
With walker in hand and Granny glasses on brow
The dejected mummified puppetmaster let out a sick howl
But I heard him exclaim, ere he slithered out of sight,
“Why do we have to get embarrassed on a damn Monday-Night!!!!”

Well that settles it for me. We're winning this thing going away.
